Clip it to residential and commercial ovens, broilers, boilers or any other high temperature application. You can also clip it to condenser fins when finding target superheat, evaporator filters, or hard to reach supply vents. The ATAF1 can be used with any of our meters that measure temperature and any thermometer accepting a K-type thermocouple. The convenient alligator clip is a great time saver when data logging or anytime an extra hand is needed. Great for meters with a 1000-Degree F range.

Being an OEM part, I expected nothing less and was not surprised when it performed exactly like the last one. The last one got chewed to a frayed mess by the cat, but amazingly it still worked perfectly.

We used these in an oven. The temp. got up to about 650f intermediately and held at 600f. That was too much for the alligator clamp. The clamp I guess soften up and the jaws spread apart so it lost its grip. I am sure it would work good at lower temps.

It takes temperatures and is very accurate but its so thin and fragile I expected something more heavy duty from Fieldpiece.

Already used couple of times to calibrate pizza ovens. Still working. But did have to use heat resistant cover where it touches the closed door.
