Sorry, I know nothing about this sort of drone camera thing. I just know my adult son wanted it so mom gifted it to him.Son is beyond happy with his gift. He's been shooting underwater for his YouTube channel for a few years & has done really well. But, this addition has really put him over the top in what he's able to do. He's doing research in a Oregon lake. Thanks to this camera drone he's found things that have never been seen before.Son happy. Mom happy!

Received my new much anticipated fifish V-Evo today but I'm a bit disappointed. While considering between the m2 chasing and the fifish, i decided on the latter and am thinking i made a mistake. I paid an additional 300.00 for the grabber arm attachment only to find that it will neither close nor open. I can hear that the motor is operational but no movement exists. I tried to contact the support numbers listed on the website however, all of which are disconnected. I contacted Amazon (an automated assistant) over the phone and was advised that I'd have to return it for a refund because there were no more units available although there in no mention of this on their site. Also, because I financed it, if I want to re-purchase it I'll need to wait for over a month for the money to be released back to the creditor before I can go back through affirm to buy it again. I bought it to take with us on a family trip of under water exploration. While im diving, my wife and kids would use the submersible. So that completely ruins the purpose of the trip entirely. If I have to return this I will not be repurchasing it. I will not be recommending it to anyone in our dive club nor on any dive trips that I attend. If I'm paying 1600.00 for something I would expect technical service, customer service, and someone who can give me options other than "send it back." I don't mean to sound so harsh but all I can think about is how I am to deliver to my children the bad news, as they have been looking forward to taking this trip with me.. I will update this post with the outcome.

UPDATECustomer support did finally get back with me and decided to send out a new tether which I just received. This one seems to work as it should.The ROV behaves like it should and It should get a higher rating except for the fact that a poor design in the cable reel caused the cable to wrap on itself and split. This was only after using the ROV 2 times in shallow dives. I contacted customer support who initially replied quickly with a video showing me how i can try and fix the problem. After I told them it was unacceptable and asked for a replacement reel they never replied again.Can I fix it? Probably.Should I have to fix it? NO! not after such minimal use doing exactly what it was designed for.For the price, this is not a toy. I planned to use it as part of my biz so the upfront cost was acceptable.Hopefully nothing else goes wrong because I know I can't rely on customer support.QYSEA Customer Support. I'm still waiting for your reply. You have my email and direct phone number.I will update this review if the problem is ever solved or I'm contacted by customer support

This is the THIRD time the arm on my drone has broken. NOT MADE TO LIFT ANY AMMOUNT OF WEIGHT. I have picked up bottles successfully but anything heavier than that DO NOT ATTEMPT. And not to mention the only place you can buy a replacement is on their website with 99$ shipping. Do better.

i am a marine surveyor. i purchase the V6 with the HDEM adapter, for a job. the unit worked great and my clients were very satisfied with the result. i then started to market this service. the unit worked so well, that other clients have purchased units. i recommended to them to purchase the one with the remote arm.the unit did not work on my last job. i sent it to QYSEA in Texas. spent around $75. when I got it back. it did not work. I got NO!! explanation of what was done. i contacted OYSEA by email and they have not responded to my mail. there is no phone number available for their Texas facility. the phone number published on the web. is a China number. i have not been able to get anybody to pick up the phone.the 2 star rating is due to poor customer service.the unit worked great. be aware that the warranty may be difficult to honor.

One of my lights went out you can’t get ahold of anybody it’s a manufactured defect. Amazon said the would refund me but for over $300 restocking fee not good.

I used my sub 4 times before it just randomly shut down. They have you send it to a repair shop and it was obviously due to poor manufacturing that a leak occurred and ruined the $500 motherboard. The repair shop quoted me $800. Qysea wouldn’t honor the warranty because they said I should have noticed a light was dimmed and some other obviously fake reasons. I highly suggest avoiding any products from this company all together. The quality is awful and the support is even worse.
