How to paint?

I wish I could explain how much I loved this kit. I was skeptical at first, as up close the design seemed smudged but take a step back and the paint is incredible. Highly recommend. Wonderful for my anxiety. Only tip: don’t stress if you go over the lines, it all works out the in end.

Turned out so beautiful. Wish there was more 21 paint. 19 was a lot hard to covered, went over the number a few times with white color.

I really wanted to like this. I love the picture as it reminds me of a vacation. I have painted over 20 various paint by numbers and this has become a fun new hobby for me. This was my first with this company. I will not order any more from them. The paint is either way too thin or the canvas is highly and unusually textured. Whatever the cause, the paint is getting absorbed or is so thin that I am having to go over every color 4-5 times so as not to see lines and numbers. It is a shame because now the areas look over-painted and yet just barely covering. I may take the photo and use elsewhere instead of wasting my time completing this. I should not have to buy gesso to cover it up first and if that is what is needed here they should ship pre-gesso-ed.
