Choosing the Correct Filter Size
Nominal Size vs. Actual Size
The nominal size is a shorthand number rounded to the nearest whole or half inch, normally in a larger font (ex: 16 x 20 x 1). Whereas the actual size is an exact measurement, normally in a smaller font, that depicts the filter's precise dimensions (ex: 15.50 x 19.50 x 0.75). All filters have both.
Measuring Your Air Filter
If your current air filter does not have a dimension listed on the frame, use a tape measure to record the width x length x depth to find the actual size. Then round these measurements up to the nearest inch to find a corresponding nominal size, which will be easier to locate when searching online.

I stopped buying cheap after one round of these. You could almost instantly tell the difference. I knew I needed to change my filter without even having to check. These work very well.I was able to breath better and sneeze less. At the time I lived in FL. My allergies were crazy and I believe there was a mold issue I was unaware about. These helped big time.

Good value for price, but a 16 X 25 X 4 inch filter is really 15-1/4 X 24-1/4 X 3-1/4. So, it will fit loose in your filter compartment. If that doesn't matter, these seem to be nice filters.

Package came in well packed with no damage and on time delivery. The air filters is a very touchy business as you have to rely on the Company specifications but most of all the tests results of the advertise filters. No other way of knowing what you bought is what you got ! Credibility is a must just like when you buy a jewel. The package advertises a MERV 13 so you have to trust the Company as such (unless the tests results are available). On the Commercial / Industrial side not a big problem to get the test results and accreditations but for the consumer side ?? So if these are MERV 13 for a house furnace system very good filters for a good price.
