Honestly not a whole lot to say, it does what it's advertised to do and decently priced. I'm using it on a telescope with a laser for aiming at objects.

This worked for me so far with caveats. I’m using this with the popular Laser 301 pointer which takes an 18650 battery. The bottom plate has a 1/4 20” threaded hole which makes it fairly versatile for mounting. The fixing ring was too small, so I rigged it so that the front capture ring holds the button down. I use the key on the back of the pointer as an on/off switch. Minus one star for that.Second star got knocked off for poor QA. Several bolts were very loose, to the point that I am amazed that it didn’t come out completely and get lost during shipping. I’ll have to keep and eye on it and if it loosens again I’ll secure it with some threadlock.

Mounting a green-light laser pointer (GLP) on my 8" dobsonian. The pointer fit and I was able to dial it in without too much effort. Super convenient. Hopefully, it will keep it firmly in place. Will update if it loses the positioning over time. The second pic shows me uses the GLP to find Jupiter (that's the little blurry white dot you see)

Too tall of a stalk some the finder sits very high. I had to make a lower stalk.

2 stars. You can make this work with a little time and a file. The front ring was tilted when you tightened it down but some filing on the other slot in the base fixed that. The screws in both rings are not aligned with each other so there is some fiddling there too getting everything lined up, but it did the job pretty well all things considered. The ring for the switch on the laser pointer was too small for my laser, but a trip to the hardware store for piece of 1 1/4 inch PVC pipe and a thumb screw fixed that.
