They say they are r-8 but they left a bunch of play in my mill. The 3/8†bit hold was loose and in my grizzly mill. I have the grizzly 0781 and this set does not math the drawbar depth. The threads matched but there was about 3/4†extra when the threads bottomed out.This would probably work in some application in a different mill but for somewhat-precision milling I wish I went with a more reputable brand.

I've used the 1/2 and the 1/4 and the bore on the 1/2 is not drilled straight the end mill wobbles a bit.

I would not suggest buying these. The bore in the holders are very rough and not at all accurate. I put a solid carbide end mill in the 3/4 holder and it was very loose fitting. I checked the runout and the cutter was .015 out to the spindle. The set screws that hold the cutter in, not even close to being centered.

The 1/2 holder was not drilled deep enough to hold the end mill on the flat.
