I am so happy with this product. For my entire (rather long) life I have hated trying to skim scum off soups and other boiling dishes, like berry jams etc. I hated it because it was a little laborious and you could never get all the scum off, even if you took a fair portion of the liquid you actually want in your final product. This device goes quick, and it is very efficient. A few swipes and I've got everything off that I don't want in there, and all the good stuff remains. It's actually one of my favorite kitchen tools now. It is very well made and will probably last forever.
