Size as advertised, very dense material. Much lighter than standard fire break, which last on average one season in my wood burning Furnace.Interested to see how they hold up.

These are nothing like heavy brick which can have hidden asbestos. These are mainly for pellet stoves but should work in wood stoves. I use mine to bank my fires so they will burn and heat to the max overnight. They are lightweight and easy to trim down. Clay Asbestos is not so easy to cut., and the dust can cause lung disease. These are NOT for high fires. They are for moderate fires of 1200-2000 Fahrenheit.

EXTREMELY LIGHT AND WELL MADE. IF THEY PERFORM WELL DURING BURNING SEASON THEY WILL BE WORTH THE PRICE. TIME WILL TELL. WILL UPDATE RATING IN APRIL 2025

These are not high temperature fire bricks. They melted very quickly when used as doors on a single burner forge at low forging temps, but for a fireplace or stove, they should work fine.
