I was unsure about this purchase and afraid that it would be flimsy. It is sturdy and a perfect fit for my fireplace opening. I've already had several compliments on how good it looks in my home.

Ordered this to go in front of our pellet stove to keep grandkids from accidentally touching fireplace. It is very well made and looks wonderful

The fireplace screen is sturdy and well made, but the box it comes in provides very little protection during shipping. The first one I received had multiple large dents in both the frame and mesh. The replacement one has 4 deep scratches and a small divot, but I was able to make them less noticable with a Sharpie.Overall, the screen is beautiful and worth buying if you're willing to gamble.
