This fireplace remote features a smooth surface design for a comfortable grip and is compatible with the 2166-330 and RC300-HNG models as a replacement.

Worked exactly as the original remote did. The remote Does have to be paired to the fireplace controller in the FP. the unit is not IR, but probably bluetooth as the unit you send commands to is inside the firebox below the front metal frame. However the pairing is easy just pressing a pin hole switch and then pressinhg the enter key within 10 seconds.

This remote paired fine and works well. It’s slower to send commands after the button press than the original remote, and the finish around the screen isn’t as nice as the factory HHT remote. But it does work and it’s much cheaper than a factory replacement.

It does not work the lights. Only the flame comes on.

Purchased for our fireplace but sadly it didnt work with ours. Price is nice, considereing the store purchases is an additional 50.00. Sadly it isn't compatable with the fireplace. Sending back

The only difference as far as I can tell is cosmetic - there's no 'Heat 'N' Glo' logo on the remote.
