My son wanted to expand his musical talent to the trombone so I got him this book. It took him a couple of weeks but he can now play songs like a pro!

I teach euphonium and trombone lessons, and I use this book on my beginners and for my euphoniums switching to bass clef. It is a great tool for the beginner, or for someone wanting to work on sight reading. There is a second book, and it is awesome too! I love this series and highly recommend them!

This is probably the best book on which to start a novice brass player. I wish I'd been started on this book, really. I've used the treble clef version with trumpet players for years.

Arrived in a timely fashion! I have never brought a player through the Getchel or the Bordner books but what they improved!

This book did nor reach my expectations because I boughr it for a child who knows nothing about the trombone. Consequently I expected the book to start with slide positions, scales, an fundamental info. The book started with simple tunes that had nothing to do with beginners training.
