I have some shy fish (mini corydora catfish) that were constantly racing up and down the back corners of my tank. I was reading that they prefer to have a backdrop to feel more secure and within just a couple of hours of installing this background they've been out and about exploring more of the tank. I love how my plants and rocks pop against the background and especially how easy it was to install. There is a thin piece of plastic covering the shiny side. Just take that off and then apply the shiny side toward the tank and you're good to go! It sticks great on my tank without any extra adhesive and was really easy to get to lay flat. I'm very happy with this addition and only feel sorry I didn't get it sooner.

I bought Fish Tank Aquarium Background - Black, Electrostatic Adhesion, Glue-Free, Easy Installation, Traceless Removal, Size 11.8 X 39 Inch. I tried to stick it on the back of my tank by spraying water on it and floating it, but it doesn't stick to the glass. So I had to put tape on it to secure it to the glass. It still doesn't stick without tape and the part that touches the glass keeps getting air in and it doesn't look good.

For the most part, this is a super clean look, but there are a few little air bubbles that won’t go away.

As others noted, there is a thin film that needs to be peeled off otherwise its completely non-stick, but while it does somewhat work,it started peeling off at the short edges immediately. I ended up using some tape to keep those in place. Works ok.

I bought this to put around three sides of my snake’s tank to provide her with some privacy. It’s been a few months now and it still holds up perfectly. There isn’t any adhesive, you just peel the back plastic off and it uses static to cling to the glass. I was able to put it up around all three sides of my 29 gallon tank in about 15 min with some help from my husband (he held one side while I lined it up with the edges). The air bubbles came out easily by running a credit card over it. The material was actually taller than my tank, so I ran a box cutter along the edges after getting it put up and it cut super easily.I’m still happy with it, and I believe my snek is too :)

Adhère très bien à la surface avec un peu d'eau et une raclette. Fait un beau résultat pour le fond de l'aquarium et aussi pour la vue de derrière mon aquarium que je vois en montant l'escalier. J'avais besoin que ce soit opacte pour ne pas laisser passer les rayon du soleil et c'est efficace. Très satisfaite du produit.

Exactly as described, had a thin clear plastic to be removed that makes a super good static cling. Fit my tank perfectly
