Had one swivel fail when the bail clicked over mid cast. But other than that they have worked as expected. Held up fine against the 15 pound striper.

I bought these leaders for a fishing trip in Canada in May 2024. They were advertised at 30LB strength, but the clasp opened as I was casting a lure. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve my $10 lure. I would rate these at zero stars if that option was available.

These steel leaders are perfect for fighting toothy fish or for fishing in areas where your line may be abraded by rocks, timber, or other underwater obstacles. I do a bit of catfishing and steel leaders are a must to prevent line breakage. The swivels seem pretty sturdy and the whole line is well made. very happy with this order.

This is not for your every day fisherman, probably targeted to trollers and guys that target Kingfish on Flatlines. the black makes it highly visible, so that would limit the applications for use.
