These bits just arrived today, but I've already had the chance to test them out some. Although I can't speak to their longevity/durability yet, these bits appear to be of good quality and work well with my 3.0HP DeWalt router. I primarily work with walnut which is a fairly dense wood, and these bits cut through the boards without any real issue. My only complaint so far is that the wooden storage box these arrived in is very thin and cheap; the lid of mine was already broken on arrival (the reason for my 4-star review; photo attached). This of course isn't the end of the world, I could really just wood-glue it back on, but I'll probably just find a different storage bin to keep them in. Again, not a huge deal, but figured it was worth mentioning.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it as a good/cheap option for beginner wood workers or casual carpentry hobbyists.

These router bits fit the 1/4" collet on my Craftsman router perfectly. They're sharp and the carbide looks like good quality. The ball bearing guides look decent, especially for the money. I only tested the 1/4" straight bit; but I plan to use the 45 degree ball bearing bit to make a guitar pickguard- I will update when that is done. The 1/4" straight bit did a nice job routing a test cut in a hard maple scrap. It cuts cleanly and I was able to rout a perfect guitar pickup cavity using a Stewart-Macdonald routing guide. Due to its sharpness the router's motor didn't lug down at all. Keep in mind I only used it to make a reasonable depth of cut (I go 1/2 to 1 diameter depth on each pass). The only gripe I have is that the storage box is kind of flimsy and cheap, but that's a very small concern. These bits are a good deal and the box can be beefed up!

Ok, so I’ve had this set for several months and I have used em, a lot. I hate spending the money on the good ones but as often as I use router bits I aughta. For somebody that tinkers an uses em mildly there a great buy. But, they ain’t gonna last for somebody who really uses em. I got 3 chipped carbide bits, bearings gone out on two of em. I’m replacing them one by one with good ones. Ain’t trying to put em down so much as pointing out what should’ve been obvious to me, pay little, get little. For the casual woodworker, these things are sharp and cut nice. They’re a bargain. For Everyone else, buy em if you want I guess. They’re nice for a while.

For the price paid, these router bits seem pretty decent quality. I only use them for hobby purposes but they are holding up okay. Hopefully they last long term.
