Just received this flagpole light to replace one that was not working anymore. This new one is very bright and has 2 different brightness settings. I'm very satisfied with it.

This is a really good quality light, and it doesn't weigh very much.So I don't think it's going to be an issue pulling down my flagpole.

I am very happy with this XYRIS Solar Powered Outdoor Flagpole Light, although I have to admit, I hadn't looked very carefully at the specifications and didn't realize that this light was meant to installed on the smaller 1/2" diameter flag poles. I had purchased it to install on my 1" diameter flagpole mounted on the side of my house. While I wish that the manufacturer had made some provision for using it on the larger size pole, fortunately, I was able to modify the body of the light to fit my 1" pole. The construction of the light made it a simple matter to disassemble the unit to do the modifications.Once installed, it looks great and provides good all around light coverage at night. The solar panels seem to be very effective in collecting a good deal of energy during clear days, which is somewhat less of course on cloudy days. The battery has a pretty long life after a day of charging, and usually continues shining for at least 5 or 6 hours after it comes on. I have this light mounted on my 5 1/2 foot flagpole, and the light is effective in lighting a 3x5 foot flag for that distance.I definitely recommend this flagpole light. The price point seems reasonable and it is of high quality and seems durable and should last some time. I give it 5 Full Stars!

I received this solar-powered flagpole light as part of the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review.This light is impressively bright, with 136 LEDs providing full illumination from dusk to dawn. It covers the entire flag well, ensuring it’s visible at night. The solar panel charges efficiently, and even after a cloudy day, it still manages to stay lit for several hours as opposed to a good full charge that lasts all night. (dusk to dawn )Installation was simple—just attach it to the top of the flagpole, and it starts working automatically at night. It’s also waterproof, so I don’t have to worry about rain affecting its performance.A couple of things to keep in mind:Make sure your pole has a standard half-inch finial hole, as that’s how it mounts.Direct sunlight during the day is crucial for the best results at night.Overall, this is a great addition for flagpole owners who want their flag illuminated properly at night.It has not made it to the top of the flagpole because it must be installed and the ground it too hard.The image is of it sitting on a post to see how long it stays light

Easy to install and lights up the flag nicely. This product exceeded my expectations, durable and easy to install. Love being able to spotlight our beautiful countries flag. Super easy to install looks great at night. Will purchase again for the back yard. We are using this lighting for nighttime displaying of our American Flag. It is very bright and we're happy with the way it looks. I get a good 12 hours out of it specially when you got good direct sunlight keeping it up easily. This is the brightest flag solar light I have ever bought. It was easy to install and actually light up my 3x5 American flag evenly at night. I have a 25 ft pole and the light gets excellent sun during the day.

If you like to follow proper etiquette then if you leave your flag out at night it should be illuminated. But what about if your installation is in an area where there is no electricity for a spot light or if your flag pole is very tall and solar on the ground won’t do much? This is the answer, solar on top of the pole. The ground is still frozen here so the pole has not been installed but now we can put it wherever we want, like on the dock, and the illuminated flag can fly. Great product idea!

This light is a good compact design maximizing the top and bottom surfaces.It is shallow which minimizes its visibility on the pole.The top of the light is all solar panels but the surface is flat which will hold snow and dirt. I would have been better if it was slightly angled so snow can slide off.The bottom is the 8 lights and they are angled to give a good wide cast of light.It is all plastic, waterproof and lightweight.The rubberized button is on the bottom which protects it from the weather.Simply remove your pole cap, place the light on the top of your pole, and screw the pole cap back on through the hole in the light. The depth is 1-1/2 inches so hopefully your pole cap has a shaft long enough.This also comes with a plastic hook and carabiner which allows you to hang the assembly light a hanging light fixture.Can be used for camping or backyard gazebo.The light sensor works well to keep it off during daylight.

Update: Seller reached out to me, apologized for the missing parts and sent a whole new kit, this time with all the parts. Absolutely wonderful customer service! That, with the quality of the solar light, updating from 3 to 5 stars. Deserved!The solar light itself is quite nicely made and gives off sufficient glow for lighting my flag when summer comes, however the package containing the clip, hook and tube was missing from the box. Not really useful parts for me, so not a big issue, but should be noted.I did not realize how small the hole is for the flagpole, so will need to get creative in the spring and figure out a way to attach to my wood flag pole ;)

This light is excellently designed. The numerous LEDS are powerful and bright. The auto on/off feature adds to the convenience.This is a truly versatile product for overhead lighting, all for a very reasonable price.
