It's been a year and the lights are still shinning bright at night. Without fail this solar light has lit up our American flag at night. It really makes me feel proud to be able to display it at night. It puts off some goodight too so you can see the ground.

After some modifications it works great. The ball on top of my flag pole, the threads wasn't long enough to go through the light and into the top of the pole. I made some adjustments and got it to work. If you have longer threads on your topper this wouldn't be a issue, and installation would be simple and fast. It has little weight to it but not enough to change the stability of the pole.Charging seems to work great as well, last all night.

Easy to install. Our old one broke when the flagpole broke. This is economical and does a great job. Easy to adapt.

This photo is taken just after it’s become dark and the batteries are at their peak. It’s fine then, but within a few hours, it hardly sheds any actual light onto the flag. You can still see lights on the circular light fixture until dawn so people will know that you’re attempting to honor and respect the flag by lighting it all night, but it certainly leaves a lot to be desired. Our previous solar light was a lot brighter but the batteries didn’t last and weren’t replaceable. For the very low price and the fact that you can prolong its life by replacing the rechargeable batteries, I have to say this light is probably a pretty good deal. Maybe with a high quality replacement battery it will stay brighter overnight?
