My husband ordered these chairs as office chairs because he didn't want one that rolled. We received them and found out that that we had to put on the backing of the chairs using screws and guides (white marks) on the fabric. Kinda nifty, but also gives people the freedom to set a higher/lower back if they wanted to.Now, my husband ordered several of these because he was getting a longer table and wanted the freedom to slide down a little or let the dog take a nap next to him. Doing research before we bought them, these chairs do INDEED have a ganging-clamp to keep them together (unlike their 21" width siblings), but do not come with the book rack on the bottom. Some models do; the ones we ordered did not and we knew we were not ordering chairs with the rack. The ganging clamp, however, is pretty neat. The "ganging camp" is really an open slot on the left of the chair, and a metal piece going downward on the right of the chair. The metal piece on one chair goes into the slot of another chair and it locks the two together, in the loosest sense (since they can be easily separated by lifting one of the chairs). The two ganging pieces are adjustable, so you can make the connection really tight or fairly loose. We found that the best way to set up the connection between chairs is the loosen the ganging pieces, put the chairs side-by-side with the ganging pieces connected, and then tighten the screws and secure down the ganging pieces to ensure that they'll ALWAYS be at a certain position. After ordering 3, we're thinking of ordering a few more to keep as "benches" for when guests come over. These STACK well and are light enough to carry 2+ at a time if you desired, even though each chair is built to take 600 pounds of weight. The best thing about them is the comfort! The cushioning is no-joke, and it really is pretty durable. I don't think it'll ever show sign of wear or sagging either; these were designed for churches with a ton of traffic and usage in their chairs!

I am a registered dietitian and certified intuitive eating counselor, and I utilize a Health at Every Size® approach in my practice, and these chairs are PERFECT! Yes, they do need to be assembled (I needed a second set of hands to help me do so!), but the result is worth it. They are very sturdy and accommodate individuals of many shapes, sizes, and abilities. Since they do not have rails, they are easy to transition in and out of, and the deep cushions provide stability and comfort. No complaints about this product!

I'm a big guy and need a chair that is on the heavy duty side. This one does the trick. The problem is that the chair requires tools, preferably a power screw driver/drill to put the back on. The box is huge, so, to be frank, I would have preferred it already assembled. I would have paid an additional $10 for it. Otherwise the chair is good.

I really like how sturdy the chair is. It came in two pieces the back rest had to be screwed into the rest of the chair. It came with the 6 Phillips head screws it needed. I have a descent grip and did the first two screws by hand with a screw driver, but got my drill out for the rest to speed up the process. I would recommend the drill especially if you hate hand cramps as the screws go through fabric and into what I assume is wood. Very comfortable and my daughter loves the large box of came in.

Let me tell you the padding is only half what they advertise its a nice chair to sit in for an hour but anytime more it starts to hurt

The description leads you to believe that the seat cushions are 4.25" thick. They are NOT. They are 2.5" thick including the base seat board upon which the foam sits. (See first photo) The very front where the cushioning wraps underneath measures nearly 4.25 inches, but half of that in underneath. (See second photo) The foam padding on the top of the seat where you sit is 1.75" thick. To me, that is quite deceptive in the description. The chairs ok, but not as plush and cushy as expected. Note: I purchased 5 sets of 4 chairs each in different colors. The padding is the same on all of them even though they are different colors, so I didn't take separate pictures for each different color. (Thus the purple chair in the picture)

These chairs are great quality for the price. They came in a few pieces, but were very easy to assemble. The boxes for shipping are a little heavy, but that is to be expected. We use them in our office. They are very plush, but firm. We especially enjoy that the fabric continues onto the back of the chair and does not allow for the chair to scratch the wall. Worth it! We will purchase again if we need more!

The back rest fabric is navy blue with yellow dots and the seat fabric is navy blue with light blue and red dots. I'm very disappointed. Too much hassle to try and send back. Ugly :(
