This works great to penetrate heat out to whatever room fireplace is in. Color does not hold up BUT still doing the job it is intended for so that does not bother us.

It was a described. Installed in a minute. But haven't used it yet. I hope it doesn't warp from the heat. I'll update this review after some use time.

I got this to help our heating in the living room, rather than use the whole-house furnace. Just got around to using it for the first time, and there was no heat noticeable at all. Even the fireplace screen was cold to the touch.
