The drill works. Nice and long and was able to drill down thru the bottom plate of the framing into the basement. The paint on top of the metal is rather flimsy and cracked and came right off, so minus one start for that. Just don't paint it gloss black.

Long and strong but not as flexible as i would like it to be, but it does bend or curved if you put enough pressure. The head came protected, it will do the job.

I tried to drill a hole through the floor. The bit head came off the shank the very first time I try using it.

I'm in the process of installing a new washer hookup in my farmhouse, so I thought I would give this a try. Excellent choice. This drill bit is well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are good. Screw point helps greatly feeding the bit. Works well. Perfect for drilling down between studs without having to rip the wall out. Highly recommend. 5 stars.
