Had to drill the .300 Dia hole to .375 to fit all my 1 inch indicaters and the swivels on end of arm had too much loose movement when trying to indicate parts.

It works very well for the purpose it it is used for. I use it to hold the spray mist nozzle on my lathe.

I'm a machinist and received this as a gift. The design idea is good. However, the quality of workmanship is embarrassing... the plastic knob that is used to tighten the dovetail is cheap and mine is melted ridiculously bad. I'll be making a new piece out of brass. The balls in the joints have a terrible surface finish and don't move smoothly. I'll be taking them apart to do some deburring and polishing. The micro adjustment is pretty rough, might need to debur and clean those threads. The mid pivot point works great and is smooth.
