The magnet on this Neoteck seems as strong as the Starret 660 that the company has used for years. It is a little longer than the Starret 660. Only been a few days that I used it but so far I like it.

I compare items to how they’re made and or how useful they are to me. Do they do the job that I want them to do? And then the price point. It is OK made it should last for a while. It’s not a professional machine for me. it does what I need to do, so four stars. If you are a professional, you may want to invest in a better one.

without spending a lot of time looking at dial indicator stands, this one seemed like it might be decent quality and still affordable - so I took a chance. In use it does seem to be solid quality - magnet is strong, the magnet switch is very easy to flip, and the position locking screw works well - and finally the arm length/reach is decent.couldn't be happier - solid performance, and very affordable
