This thing works great. I don't usually buy brands I haven't heard of, but I took a chance here and it paid off. Great price, and it works very well. The hose retracts well and fully extends to the whole length of the hose. I've mounted it at the front corner of my garage so it can be near an otherwise inaccessible outlet that I plug the air compressor into, and it reaches to the third bay to fill the lawn mower's tires when needed. Overall solid build, decent hose, and nice mounting options.

This Chinese made hose reel is quite a bit lighter than my all steel one, and at first I was skeptical. But it works well, the pivot function is nice, and the rewind spring works adequately. Spring could be a little stronger...Hose is of an interesting material, dirt brushed off it easily and the extra flexibility is convenient, but not a big advantage in my application. Fittings seem made of plastic, and that concerned me, but they tightened up fine and sealed properly.I'd say this is a very good choice in a light duty hose reel. Nice that it came ready to use, no assembly required other than mounting it, and that's when the lighter weight was helpful.

I bought this to replace my old Harbor Freight reel that stopped working. I should have gotten this a long time ago...it was easy to put up, the rewind unit works well, and the hose is great!Pros:-Hose is super flexible...10 x better than my old standard hose for pneumatic tools. If I would have known how good the hose was, I would have bought this a long time ago.-Decent price on Amazon.-50' hose is long enough to mount this on the back wall of my garage and have plenty of hose to reach well outside my garage into driveway.Cons:-I have a water hose reel from Legacy that is made in the USA...it is very well made and works flawlessly. So, before I bought this, I couldn't tell where it was made so I asked here on Amazon. The first response I got was "Made in USA". I bought it right away. Upon receiving the reel, it was clearly marked on the box "Made In China". I was disappointed since I was expecting it to be from the USA. I guess I found out not all Legacy reels are made in USA, and that some Amazon "answerers" are not correct. Bottom line is it seems like a good product but it is made overseas.-The hose has a high silicone content. If you will be painting, I would use a regular rubber or poly hose. If there is silicone on the inside like I can feel on the outside, that could make for a bad paint job (if you are painting something nice like a car or something).

I put this in my garage and I use it to air up my tires in my cars and I don’t have to have a pile full of hose laying on my floor every every day.

Have to whip the hose in order for it to lock. Then to reel it back in, getting it to stop is a fight since there is a lot of tension on the return springIt works, the hose is nice, but the mechanism in the reel could use much improvement.

Hose reel was exactly as described. Arrived quickly works fantastic. Considerably better price than any of my local retailers.
