I almost gave up because it would not stick to my laminate flooring.Ive tried damp paper towels,would not stay and finally I came across review with a video where person used silicon mats.I went to my local Michael’s store and purchased 2 silicon mats $2.45 each.Ive tried today and it worked.I was be able to fix my gaps in my floor.

The suction wouldn’t stick to the vinyl floor after several tries and on different spots. Useless if it doesn’t even stick.

Well made, but the suction cups only work if the flooring is 100% absolutely, totally smooth as glass. Any texture at all, and the tool won't grip.
