I bought this for my granddaughters playroom. She can’t reach a light switch to turn the room light one and with the foot button to turn this lamp on she can do it by herself without help. It is sturdy and a perfect size. It fits great in her playroom.

Nice lamp. Easy assembly and heavy sturdy base. I like the fact you turn it on & off by stepping on the button on floor. Not the brightest because I chose grey shade, but it's definately brighter than my night stand lamp.
