Used to protect the edge of carpet at the boundary to stairs. Looks good works well. Two issues first the adhesive was supplemented with brads. Second the shape made it difficult to cut a 45 degree with scissors

I was very nervous buying this trim, thinking that my carpet is thicker than 5mm, and it wouldn't stickto the floor.... I was wrong! This trim is STICKY!! A project we've put off for 5 years in the basement is finally done!! I cleaned the vinyl floor with alcohol, let it dry, and started sticking! Went over the carpet perfectly, and stayed down immediately! Wish I had found this years ago!

Does not stick to the floor, lifted as soon as I tried to lay it. Complete waste of money

Product worked for our transition piece between the kitchen (vinyl) and living room (carpet) area. It was easy to cut and put in place, but the adhesive did not work well for us. We used carpet tape (which was slightly too wide) to secure the rubber strip. The product is saving us time and money until we can renovate the area. I would recommend an additional adhesive.

This worked great for what i needed it for-- just to add a finishing touch in a not-very-trafficked part of my floor. In this case, I used it to step down from my new Lifeproof vinyl floor to my old linoleum below, since I didn't remove it from this closet.I flattened it a little by just putting it in a warm window for a few hours and then flattening it down while it was warm. I cleaned the flooring below very aggressively with alcohol. The adhesive stuck fine, pretty much like 3M products do.But I wouldn't want it anywhere other than somewhere like this where hardly anyone will ever step. If I wanted to rip it right back up or trip it out of place, I likely could.
