I poked holes in it for an art project in cologne and it collapsed, then it leaked a mother load of tiny micro plastic beads. Absolute disaster.

It was the perfect size for the parts of the eye project at school, but when we went to cut it in half it didn't cut well, and the Styrofoam fell about some on the inside. We managed to still get an A on the project.

This may be a strange thing to get this for, but I needed something about the size of a newborn's head to use for sizing beanie hats to make sure they aren't too small or way too big. This ball happens to be very close to the average size of a newborn's head, and so it's great for what I needed it for.It came with a few small indentations and dings, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for anyone that wants a perfectly smooth surface, but it would be great if you were going to cover it with something textured.
