I have a 2008 Charger 3.5L with a Borla split exhaust. This is a cat-back system but I installed it from the OE muffler back as the Borla muffler was too noisy for me. Prior to installing the Flowmaster resonator I had significant droning on start-up, acceleration, and at highway speeds. I was skeptical when I opened the box and found that this is a straight through design with a side chamber and disappointed because Flowmaster told me it was not a straight through design. However....... it did eliminate my droning problem and the exhaust note is now much quieter. It still puts out some noise on moderate or hard acceleration, but cruising down the road is almost completely quiet. I can now easily hear the tires and wind noise at highway speeds. I installed it just in front of the muffler. Seems to be a quality product.

Placed this resonator in line with a flowmaster hp2 behind it on my 95 impreza. Went with 2.5 inch diameter mandrel tubing from flowmaster, custom cut and built myself. I am SUPER happy with the result!!! Even with the 1.8L it sounds AWESOME!!! Naturally aspirated with a cheap UEL header, no cats this resonator and an HP2 muffler. Very happy. No annoying resonating drone inside the car but has perfect boxer rumbly tone.

Had my exhaust done and didn't add a resonator was so loud. Adding this made it much quieter and still sound good

Excellent I used these flowmaster on my outlaw exhaust for my tundra and it helped out with the drone heavily it didn’t take it away but cut volume cab noise in half

Purchased this for my '02 525i and i love it. Adds a deeper tone.Most notable is that the start up sound is much better. Idle sounds a little more pronounced. WOT you get more rumble and engine sound. Did not feel performance addition at all. However a year after buying this resonator i purchased headers and i feel the flow is sufficient.

These resonators were exactly what I needed to add the perfect combination of aggressive exterior sound while keeping a minimal interior presence. If you have a 2014 Dodge charger SXT and decide to swap out the factory exhaust system, this is a must with the Super 44's!
