Your cart is empty.The Super 50 series muffler is a larger version of Flowmaster's 50 series Delta Flow muffler. Originally designed for trucks and SUV's, it is also well suited to muscle car and high performance applications. In addition, the larger case size significantly reduces interior resonance and provides a deep, rich tone along with mileage and power gains. Constructed of 16 gauge 409S stainless steel and fully MIG welded for maximum durability.

I just had this installed on a 2018 F150 with the 5.0L V8. From the factory, it is just too quiet. With the super 50 installed, it now sounds like a truck. The super 50 is tame relatively speaking in the flowmaster lineup, there is a just a bit of rumble at idle, and it wakes up a bit when you hit the throttle. Nice deep tone, not overly loud, and no drone (the stock resonator was kept in place). It's a perfect step up from the factory sound with some rumble and volume without getting aggressive or raspy.

I love the nice deep rumble from the outside, I kept the resonator on to keep it quiet on the inside. Super 50 is the way to go. UPDATE: driving with this muffler for awhile I realized that although it does have a low rumble it's not that much louder than stock. So I got a resonator delete and she sounds alot better. Same low rumble but alittle louder at idle. Sounds great when you get on it but hardly no inside drown. Perfect for me!

Sounds sweet. Not too aggresive, not too wussy. It's the muffler that says "I'm a Dad that doesn't need an obnoxious 19 year old kid muffler, yet I want to sound like I'm driving a truck and not a Prius." Had it, plus a length of pipe, installed on my 2012 Silverado 5.3L V8. Do yourself a favor and get a Range Technologies AFM(active fuel management) disabler. #1.) It stops the annoying exhaust drone when your truck drops out 4 cylinders.....#2.) It will save you a bunch of engine problems at about 90,000 miles. Don't believe me? Look it up. Enjoy that sweet Flowmaster sound. YeeYee!!!

The sound and look are perfect for the type of vehicle I own. (Large SUV, Family Vehicle with Off-Road Package) Not obnoxious loud, but you definitely know I'm running a Flowmaster. It has a nice low rumble. I look forward to starting my vehicle and running errands even more now. The black finish goes well with the black-on-black exterior/interior.I was a little surprised that WITH the resonator still attached to the exhaust system, it sounded nearly stock, but once the resonator was removed everything sounded as it should. I especially like when it switches into "4-cylinder mode", has a nice low gurgle at cruising speed. Happy with my purchase and would recommend to someone who wants their SUV/Truck to sound strong, but is not necessarily looking to turn every head to see where the racket is coming from.

Great muffler well made ... previously had a series 40 wanted to quiet down so I went with the super fifty. After having installed I think a 70 series would be a better option if you are wanting to reduce the drone level.... 50 is still quite noticably loud imo.....

Not sure the hoopla about sound. Drone noise almost non existent. Performance smooth. Big difference than the Flowmaster 40 I had replaced. No regrets

I put this muffler on a 2008 Silverado with a 5.3 engine. Wanted a good sound that wasn't too loud like some trucks that I have heard, but thanks to others that left reviews on this Flowmaster, I selected to try it.. This is a great choice for a deep tone and just the right amount of rumble. My truck is a single in and single out and sounds beefy not blasty like some exhaust tones, with a single tailpipe. Let the young guys put on the 40's but the Suv Stainless Flomaster 50 is a great choice with a good amount of deep tone sound with out being too loud inside the cabin. I am more than pleased with the Flomaster 50..............

Great sound if your not looking for anything to annoying. Doesn’t drone in the cabin, I also had my the muffler shop install it sideways on my chevy, that way it doesn’t ruble the cabin, sounds great.

I have done alot of research on mufflers and didn't want anything too loud for the family but still wanted to hear the exhaust. The Super 50 did the trick, sounds deeper and maybe 25% louder at idle and maintains that volume throughout the rpm range. There is NO drone at any rpm on my single exit (3"ID, 3"OD) Ram 1500 5.7, even with MDS on. You can barely hear it in the cabin but still hear it enough that someone with you would know that you had the muffler just perfect.I would absolutely recommend the super 50 to those who don't want an over bearing exhaust that can be used on your daily. And also opt for the stainless steel too, it's worth the extra 30 odd dollars for the extra corrosion resistance.
