Much better than my old rusty, cracked, pieces of junk I had. But, there's a bolt on them that you should torque down if your not using or it'll fall out when your cruising 70 on the highway and it'll be lost forever. Still haven't found the right size to replace it.It does still sound pretty good though. Nice and choppy.

Price was decent. Fit was ok. Picture is not accurate as far as finish. They come with non heat resistant black paint which you'll either let burn off or as I did, remove it, which is difficult with all the bends and so on. Also lots of weld splatter and mig wires stuck, particularly where the collector is. Header tubes protruded about 1/4" inch into the mounting plate, which I've learned with experience results in burned gaskets and leaks. So I ground that all nice and flat, removed as much splatter and wires as I could, and painted with VHT header paint. These mount straight to the pipes also, so don't do as I did and go crazy trying to find donut gaskets to the headpipes because they don't use them. They also come with your typical thin, cheap, header gaskets. So 2 1/2 to 3 stars to me I guess. Lots of work to get them acceptable, but then they are adequate.Oh, one other thing, the hole for the O2 sensor is huge. you either need to find an adaptor, (which is what I'm trying to do, or if running a carb, put a big pipe plug in it. Pretty ugly tube there too, but I don't see any other way, except maybe cut it shorter and weld a cap on it.

I put these on my 1992 Bronco. So far so good. Good sound and they seem very well made.

Delevery was prompt- came with manifold gaskets and all harware- direct replacement for stock manifolds...all in all, an awesome buget shorty header!
