The Fluke AC175 insulated slide-on alligator clip set with flexible boots makes temporary connections for electrical testing. Flexible boots protect the operator from bare wires. The set includes one red and one black slide-on alligator clamp and is compatible with Fluke TL71, TL75, TL175 and TP175 test leads. The set meets Category III installations up to 1,000V, which covers items used with enclosed building circuit installations (such as service panel parts, branch circuits, and fixed installations that are connected directly to a building's AC power supply), and Category IV installations up to 600V, which covers equipment at the origin of the installation (such as electricity meters and primary over-current protection equipment).

I love the clamps, I ALMOST bought off brand fro a fraction of the price but reviews on those items mentioned how rigid they felt and that they weren't very flexible. Some mentioned having loose slip connections. As an owner of a Fluke meter, I knew these would fit and would have the flexible rubber cover. I was not in love with the price as I feel another manufacturer could definitely duplicate this at a third of the cost however I just went with the Fluke brand even though I know I'm mostly paying for the name. Despite that I am happy with my purchase and these will last my lifetime at least as I am a DIY hobbyist and weekend warrior and not using this like a professional electrician might.

These are very well made and the attention to detail is impressive. They insulated the outside of the clips but kept the interior grab points available in the clips. Strangely the probes these go with don't have an instruction manual and without it, you cannot put this clips on the probes. The trick to using these is that the probes retract their shields by rotating the top of the probe exposing the threads these clips screw onto.I like probes, but sometimes you need to clip on and wait. I am surprised these are an extra cost add-on to the probes you have to buy, but so be it. They are worth buying.

Fluke digital multimeters (DMM) are sold with TL75 Hard Point test leads with probe-end only. AC175 alligator clips attach directly and fit snugly on to these test lead probe-ends. Not sure why DMM manufacturers do not include these as standard...almost always need an alligator clip on at least the common lead (AC neutral or DC negative) when troubleshooting. Fluke is not the only major manufacturer that does this...Klein Tools does the same thing. In order to have test leads with alligator clips for a Klein Tools DMM, I had to purchase a replacement set...see Amazon review... OVerall good quality Fluke AC175 alligator clips to upgrade the standard test leads...I recommend.

The tip of the alligator clip is recessed inside a heavy insulating sleeve which makes connecting a bit difficult. I am considering cutting away a few millimeters of the opening for better ease of handling.

Excellent product at a great price considering they are genuine Fluke. They fit perfectly on all 3 of my fluke meters. All 3 are the non screw in type.

Le pinze coccodrillo si presentano molto bene : la gomma molto buona e le pinze interne sono anch'esse ricoperte di gomma isolante. Si adattano benissimo ai puntali del tester FLUKE 177 in dotazione.
