if your compressor does not stop when pressure is reached, and safety valve keeps popping, you need this.this Air Pressure Switch for pancacke air compressors is good quality all around and resonably priced comsidering it has hose and clamps and both cables. On all pancacke compressors, the original hose is very short. But there is a reason they ship this switch with longer hose. Do not make the mistake of cutting it to the same size as original.or you will have an impossible time installing it.

Used to replaced a porter cable pancake aircompressor shutdown switch. Compressor shuts off at 155 psi, which could be the guage is off. The connections weren't exactly the same, so I had to cut of the supplied connector and use one that did. I doubt that they made all of these the same. Instead of buying a new aircompressor, I was able to repair for significantly less.

Purchased this to fix my pancake compressor, which continued to run until the pressure relief valve went off. Several YouTube videos on how to do the repair are readily available. Taking my time it ook about 30 min to repair. Well worth the money to do the reapair and save the compressor instead of having to buy a new one.

My air compressor had not been shutting off and the blowoff valve was doing what is was supposed to and blowing out a little over 150psi. Found a Youtube video and link to this part and the rest is history.Dissassembling the compressor might be a challenge for some but it is very doable. I used the crimp ring that came with the kit but some may prefer a traditional threaded hose clamp.Hopefully this part lasts longer than the original did.
