I bought this to control the halos on my headlights. I have halos that are red and the switch turns on the second input to make them amber. I was able to wire this so that when it is off the red halo lights just like the headlight halo. When I turn it on, the halo goes out and the headlight halo is amber (which is legal). Now I have an obvious indicator in the jeep if the halos are red (not street legal) to keel me out of trouble. This switch comes with a wiring map to help with 4 different wiring options for most applications. I would recommend this switch.

i have spent countless hours trying to find wiring diagrams, burned up switches, after buying switch after switch this was the first one w/ a diagram! there are at least 4 different ways they can be wired to achieve a specific result ! it works as perfect as possible i would be happy to recommend this quality product and thanks for including the wiring diagram!

I have mine wired where when my device is activated the light is on and when I push it in the light goes off and the device is off.I use this for my four-wheel drive actuator to turn it off and on instead of having to shift it manually on the floor. Works great.Best invention I ever came up with!!

Good solid switch. Needs a 3/4 in. mounting hole. You don't want to go much bigger because the switch body isn't much bigger than the threaded portion. I hooked mine up to an underhood LED lighting system on my car so when you look at the picture it shows that the red & blue wire goes to the positive lead of my LED lights... I found it easier to splice the wires together then put a larger sized shrink tubing on to them then another smaller shrink tubing on the positive lead from the LEDs then soldered them together and first shrink the smaller tubing, then slide the larger shrink tube down over the small one then heat that one up. Kinda the same with the black ground wire because it goes to my battery and to the negative lead on the LEDs. And the green wire I hooked directly to my battery with a fuse in line. The yellow wire remained unused. I ended up cutting it shorter and tucking it into the empty hole next to it... So I have it hooked to where the button LED is off until I push it to turn on the LEDs... Hope this helps some confusion

I used this switch to replace my NTC designs pushbutton switch. It just has to be wires into the ignition position as normally open, and also to the 12 volt 60 Volt DC to 12 Volt DC converter power to light up the 12 v LED when power is on. The switch has it's own internal bias resistor, no need for an external one, makes wiring much easier than other switches which don't have the current limiting bias resistor.WDIT: Bought two, as a spare

Needed some decent looking switches that didn’t stick up too far, as this is going in a center console. These fit the bill. Barely stick up and you can get them in momentary or latching. Comes with wiring instructions that were easy to follow. Red ring of light wasn’t overwhelming either, which is nice if you want them on all the time. I wired mine to come on when the circuit is closed.

This switch works great for my fishing electronics. Since it is LED lighted, I know when the switch is on or off. You can even change the LED light to be on when the unit is on or on when the unit is off... Your choice and very clearly explained in the wiring setup instructions.Also, great support from the company! I mistakenly ordered the wrong switch but didn't discover until I already had it installed. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working properly. I called the company to discover that I had ordered the "Momentary Switch" rather than the "Latching Switch". They sent me the switch I should have ordered and didn't even require me to return the original switch. Awesome support!!!
