Having problems with eating outside and trying to keep the flies away? What else is new, but what’s strange is I didn’t see a device like this fly fan until moving to the coastal area of my state. This works perfectly for keeping any flying bugs away from your food while eating outside and is not overwhelming enough take away from the table setting and does spin fast enough to cool your food. It’s light, uses batteries, and is portable. We bring ours with us when we get together as a group to many of the outdoor restaurants in our area. In fact, some of them have their own which is why we finally purchased ours. The fan is reasonably priced and you get two, and is available in different colors. If you haven’t thought about getting this, buy one now, you’ll be happy you did!

We set three of these up around food at an Oktoberfest party. They kept flying insects completely away!! Great product! Highly recommend.

I purchased this set of two last summer for the annual lake picnic that my sister hosts each year to place among the appetizers and food to keep those pesky flys away. The fins of the fan were ideal, in that they would easily stop, and not hurt anyone when reaching for an appetite in the blades path, however, they and the product were very lightweight that they would tip over. The party lasted all night and food was a constant, therefore we had to keep the fans running for long hours. During the party, we had to change the batteries two times. Yes, we did keep them running for a long time, so I did expect a battery change, but I was disappointed with having to change them twice over a 6 hour period. Overall, I think that the product is fun, engaging and a conversation piece, but I do think that a fan would work just as well, if you have a power source. The ideal bit about the product is that there is virtually NO NOISE. Which is great so a group of people can enjoy conversation or a band during a party!

We love to eat on the patio and these little fans are perfect for keeping away the annoying flies and mosquitoes that want to join us. They are very quiet, are portable and don’t cause any disruptions in our meals. After eating outdoors at my house, my son asked me to get some for him so he can enjoy his outdoor space more.

One of them didn't work at all, didn't bother testing the second one. The packaging was also poor in the one I did test, it had clearly been opened.
