FlySky FS-GT5 Transmitter 2.4GHz 6 Channel Remote Controller with FS-BS6 Receiver for RC Car and RC Boat
- This product uses the 2.4GHz Second Generation AFHDS 2A protocol. The FS-GT5 transmitter and FS-BS6 receiver constatute a 6 channel gyro stabilised system compatible model cars, boats and other models.
- ABS Function (automatic brake): This function only adjusts the throttle channel, including six kinds of parameter settings, automatic brake settings to adapt to different models of track, to achieve the best braking effect and cornering control effect.
- F.SAFE Function (Fail-Safe Protection): This function can protect the safety of the model when the receiver can not receive the signal from the transmitter normally, and move the actuator arm to the pre-set position.

- FS-GT5 can store 20 models, each model can set the parameters separately, but also can write the model name easy to remember. Keep all cars specific trims and End Point Adjustment (EPA) setting data to avoid massive immigrating data from other radio transmitters.

Details Functions and Use
- MODEL: The transmitter can hold up to 20 models (01-20). Each configuration can quickly be recalled.
- NAME: This function is for naming a model using up to 4 characters in length : 0123456789 ABCDEFGHIJ K L MNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
- Reverse (REV): The reversing function is used to correct the direction of travel for any channel.
- End Point Adjust (EPA): The EPA function is used to set the travel limits for each channel.
- Sub Trim (SUB-TR): This function can be used to change the centre point of any channel.
- Dual/Rate (D/R): This function is used to limit the ST or TH D/R.
- Exponential (EXP): This function is used to add a curve to the output of a channel. When set to 0 the curve response is linear; however when set to a positive or negative value the curve will no longer be linear.
- A.B.S. (ABS): This function uses the throttle output to create automatic braking in order to make braking easier on different surfaces.
- Trim (TRIM): This function is used to change the center point of each channel. For example if the steering wheel, when centered, leaves the model's wheels pointing out of alignment, this function can be used to correct it.
- Failsafe (ESAFE): This function protects the model, the safety of the user and others. When active the failsafe will set all channels to a predefined value until either; power is removed or it regains signal. If a channel is set to off it will remain in the last position it was in when signal is lost.
- CRAWL: This function is used to create a crawler mix, meaning that the front and back wheels can move in different directions. By default this function is set to off. Channel 3 will always be assigned as the rear wheels.
- S.V.C. (SVC): This function is only available for the FS-BS6. However because of frequent updates this function may become available for other receivers, for more information please visit our website. Intelligent vehicle control needs the use of the receivers gyroscope. Using the gyroscope this function will alter throttle and steering in order to keep the model going in the desired direction.

Low Power Consumption

Antenna Use
- Do not point the antenna directly at the model.
- Never grip the transmitter antenna during operation. It significantly degrades the RF signal quality and strength and may cause loss of control.

I knew before I even drove my Arrma Notorious that the radio that it comes with is junk. The majority of all the new Arrma's that have come out have the Spektrum STX2 systems in them since Horizon took over. Well those radios have quite a few issues, and just feel like a $10 radio. But more important than the plastic feel they also have delay issues. Which in an RC that goes over 60MPH is just ridiculous. You need complete and total control with the absolute minimum of input delay. Anyway after some research I knew it was with this, or the Radiolink RC6GS. I went with the Flysky and am glad I did. I LOVE this radio. The feel, build, features, are all great. I bought an extra receiver as well to go into my Typhon 6s. So this will be my radio for all my cars from here out. At first I didnt like the feel of the steering wheel. It seemed too soft and easy to turn. But Ive gotten use to it, and now actually appreciate that ease. It makes it so easy to turn and make minor adjustments. The trigger feels great as well. Another feature that I didnt think Id care about is the SVC gyro system. It works great and can be tuned quite a bit as well. This is great for narrow streets on high speed runs. It keeps it straight as an arrow. The Flysky also has all the important features and adjustments you would need, and quite a few I know Ill never use. Overall I think this is one of the best radios in this price range. Highly recommended! Update: 1-25-20 Just wanted to update this review to say Im still using this radio and still love it. Ive used it in all the Arrma's Ive had and it is currently in my Notorious 6s and my Outcast 4s. Love the feel, controls, and that its easy and cheap to install this in another RC just by buying another receiver for about $20.

I got this mainly to replace a broken Traxxas TQ transmitter because the price was really good ($70 during time of purchase). The exact replacement for the transmitter was for the same price, but this is 6 channel and includes the receiver (however, be warned that the "ABS" stands for "automatic brake system" and not "anti-lock brake system"). I was not expecting anything high quality from this price point, and when I received it, it absolutely blew my mind! The throttle and the steering felt so much more high quality, and so much easier to control than the Traxxas transmitter, glad I made the switch! When you hold it, it does not feel like a $70 cheapo. It feels like one that you can get for $120 or even $150. For durability, it's also very good. I have dropped it on the ground once, and it has never had any damage to it (no cracks in the screen or bad display, everything like new). Even right now, it's going strong, and it's by far the best Transmitter that I have ever gotten (if you have a Traxxas or any RTR transmitter make the switch if the opportunity presents itself!). Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, will definitely buy again!

This transmitter is excellent for the price and the features, controls, ergonomics, the range, and settings are all better than I expected. I got a GT3C to start with and I was disappointed because the range was so bad it was useless for a basher so wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to get another Flysky but this GT5 ended up having excellent range and I even tested it with a rangefinder and turns out it has such good range that I still had control past the point where I could barely even see the vehicle. Was still working flawlessly at 275yds and at that range I had to look through the magnified rangefinder to even see if the car was being responsive. The GT3C had a quarter of that range at 70yds when I tested it but I suspect I may have gotten a defective model because 70yds is just horrendous and I’d expect any transmitter and receiver to have much better range than that.

I'm really happy with this radio, I've used it to replace the horrible out of the box RTR radios on some of my RC vehicles and the options/adjustability of this transmitter is amazing for the price. Having 6 channels is great as some of my vehicles I have multiple light systems / accessories that are all easy to use with the extra channels this has. The gyro also works well in the vehicles I use it in, still figuring out how some things work that I haven't used yet, but overall I just can't see there being a better radio out there for this price. Very happy with it and highly recommend

This is the nicest Chinese radio I have had! Feels as nice as a Spektrum or Futaba....4th China brand I've tried, keep this one. Adding receivers and programming everything into this radio. It has 20 model memories, and programming is EASY! I DON'T think it does mixes??? Haven't tried to set one up, but I don't see any mention of mixing......But for use as a normal 2 or 3 channel car/truck/crawler it seems perfect!

This is by far my favorite remote. Best bang for your buck. I have many different brands and models of remotes and this is still my go to. I have 2 of these remotes. One of them, unfortunately, died on me. The other is 3 years old and still kicking. The controls are very easy. It has a back-lit display. It has more features than remotes double the price. Fantastic range for speed runs. More channels than the average enthusiasts will need. It gives you the option of using a 2s battery instead of AA's.
