Used this to filter the frequency recommended on my Earthquake bass transducer as my amplifier has no control on lo/hi pass filter. This worked perfect for my use case. Simple to setup, literal plug and play!

I bought the 50hz set to filter out people speaking in my subwoofer. It was quite annoying with the full frequency range going to my 12" powered sub. I am using the DA output on my TV to feed a DAC (Digital Audio Converter.) I then use the analog output on the DAC to feed my studio monitors and a powered sub. These are inline with one another with left and right channels combined. I still need to separate them coming out of the DAC. With the sub in the back of the room on one side it gives my audio some depth. I placed the 50hz filters inline to the input on the back of the sub. You will lose volume with the hz filters by themselves, yes. You will need a signal booster of somesort and that is where a DAC comes in.With the studio monitors off, you can still hear people speaking in the sub, but can't make out a word they are saying unless you can read lips. Sometimes you can only see their lips moving but no sound at all. Higher frequencies are taken out. With the studio monitors on, the tweeters deliver the higher frequencies and drown out the people heard in the sub. And as far as the punch is concerned, the sub is shaking the whole house with the increase in output from the DAC. The DAC has a signal/volume output control. With the signal increase from the DAC, I had to turn the volume down on the sub along with the studio monitors. I would recommend these filters with this particular setup.

Filtered any frequency you don't want get into the subwoofer. Subwoofer sounds way better.

I needed a passive, in line low pass filter for use with an amplified subwoofer, and this product worked perfectly!

Sound quality after installation was right on point. Pulled all unwanted high notes from my subwoofers as desired. Quality is pure perfection company took pride in manufacturing these filters. Will buy again if needed for future installations.

I have a cheap home theater sub that has practically no crossover, so a physical crossover was a definite need, but it does have a decent drop in volume when using this adapter. With a decent sub or a sub that has a preamp or multiple volume switches, this should be no problem at all just turn up your sub a little more, but with my old subwoofer I have to change other settings to get it to any kind of equal volume. Still use them constantly though because quality is worth more imo!
