Reflex V3 is designed to break down barriers for beginners, giving them the confidence to fly, while also minimizing crash risks for experienced pilots. Flying is simple when you have your very own "co-pilot"- the Reflex V3!
Reflex V3 Functions
- 3 flight modes are available: Stabilized, Optimized or Manual Mode.
- This is controlled with a two-position or three-position switch on the transmitter.
- The middle position of the three-position switch defaults to Manual mode (off). When assigned to a two-position switch, the Reflex system switches between stabilized and optimized modes.
Stabilized Mode:
Designed for beginners. This mode reduces the sensitivity of the aircraft by limiting control surface angles, completely eliminating rolls and yaw caused by operational errors, and maximizing flight safety. When switched to this mode, the aircraft can quickly level itself from any attitude when the pilot is not actively controlling it. Reflex stabilized mode is the most reliable "co-pilot" for beginner players.
Manual Mode:
Turns off all gyro functionality, the aircraft is flown completely manually when the gyro is off.
Optimized Mode：
Utilizing advanced solid-state gyros, the Reflex system maintains aircraft attitude by counteracting inflight upsets - from gusts to crosswinds. With Reflex, even small aircraft will fly with the confidence of something much larger!

I have tried other gyros for my custom builds that didn't preform, but this does it keeps all of my planes level when I want to fly easy instead of 100% Expert mode that takes alot of work sometimes. This makes my second one and I have a third on the way. All you have to do is pick a model on the list that is close or the same as what you have or have built. I made two single motor planes and one dual motor plane , it works well on both. The wiring is simple it requires 5 channels , 4 for control surfaces and the 5th channel should be set on a three position switch on your transmitter. You have to use all 5 wires it comes with to get the full function beginner intermediate advanced. As long as you download a .rar file extractor that works with your PC brand it is easy to install different models. Alot of reviews I see it seems people didn't take time to set it up correctly either on their PC or on their model. I see alot of these were sent back but don't let that sway you these do work well.

Great product. Works perfect on my fms 800mm t-28.Only downside is the lack of good documentation. Instructions for wiring are very poor.

This 3 axis gyro-stabilizer is a good addition to older non-stabilized receivers. I use this product with older generation 6 channel Spektrum Receivers and they work extremely well. Only problem is getting the correct firmware installation that works for your RC aircraft. It took me several attempts using the FMS Application on my Windows 8.1 PC before I got it to work correctly. Be patient and try numerous downloads from the App menu until you get one that works for you. Once you get the hang of it you'll likely want more than one of these units since the do the same thing (almost) as a much more expensive Spektrum receiver. This unit also works well with the Orange RX line of receivers sold by HobbyKing. BTW - you must download the firmware upgrade application from the FMS website.

I had high hopes when purchasing the Reflex gyro v2, unfortunately this product didn't operate at all, the software is flowed on FMS site, indicating USD will not connect, tried to trouble shoot, but no success! so far not a good buy
