So. Where to begin. I broke two different flukes and I got a bit tired of shelling out $150 plus to buy a new one. Been doing this stuff for 20+ years and a meter is a daily tool. Got into a fling with aneng meters and those did not dissappoint. Got used to the auto function and with two adhesive magnet strips on the back, you can park them above the ceiling and still have both hands free. Would recommend those. Still. And then I found this one. Eh. Wow. The voltage over time read out is awesome. I can walk over to a request to exit button and walk back to the meter and it shows the voltage drop over time. That's.. well? Awesome. I dont need someone on the other end to tell me the voltage dropped. Its right there on the screen. The meter overall is as precise as one of the more expensive ones you can buy. First impressions tell me the whole thing is pretty sturdy and the leads are the same kind of quality you'd expect from a high dollar meter. The auto function works just as well as the aneng meters. Whatever you put on the leads is accurately displayed on the screen. VDC, VAC, resistance.. you name it. It is a bit slow to decide what it's looking at but that doesn't bother me. I get paid by the hour. The screen is the ultimate party trick. Whether above the ceiling in the dark or in bright sunlight. Always completely legible. Fluke should take notes when it comes to this. I also like the type C usb charger port. It charges fast and I can hook it into my vehicle charger all day. All in all. I've been in this business for quite a while. And I've probably put my hands on quite a few meters. This one truly stands out. The only thing missing is a magnet but I overcame that by using epoxy to glue a magdaddy magnet into the hanging hole. Done.For short. I don't know if it's the availability of newer IC's or cheaper screens, this is the one I'm gonna stick with for quite a while. No party tricks. Just a very useful companion for my day to day work. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Easy to use, and it seems to be adequately accurate. I used handheld VOM meters in heavy industry, and electronics, most of my life. This meter possibly deserves 5 stars, if restricted to the uses commonly encountered in low voltage work. It may be a bit too fragile for "under the hood" vehicle maintenance, on a regular basis, but it is OK for occasional, careful, trouble shooting. My big concern is, it is really not safety tested, and agency certified, for any type work on high energy circuits. I once saw one of these general purpose, inexpensive, unrated, meters, used to troubleshoot runway lighting at a small airport. Because of the long distances the wiring must run, the runway lights operate at higher voltages than you may expect. The general purpose meter being used, exploded with a bang and a very bright light. Fortunately, the weather was cold, and the troubleshooter had a coat, gloves, and glasses on. For big jobs you want a commercial duty meter. I have this meter on my bench, and it works great for parts testing on un-energized, and low voltage, circuits. The meter has a built in rechargeable battery. Nice, as long as the battery lasts until you have a break to recharge it. I was worried the AUTO ranging function could be a problem if it selected a measurement different from what I wanted. No problem, you can select the function you want manually. Nice size color display.

I'm an electronic technician by trade and wanted a dependable meter to use around the house to check voltage levels in various things such as outlets and vehicle batteries. So far this meter has met my expectations. With my 30+ years of experience, I just don't trust the automatic setting of the meter so I manually select the feature I need and cannot comment on how well the automatic feature works. I touched the probes together in the automatic mode and the continuity beeper did work. Continuity beepers are one of my favorite features in a multimeter because it makes troubleshooting bad ground points on trailers and vehicles much easier. The beeper is plenty loud. I like the compact size of this meter and the fact that I can recharge the battery. The only downside is that a person doesn't know how many years the battery will last, and chances are the battery is not replaceable. I guess that's part of our throw away society. One minor thing I would improve on with this meter would be to offer a high visibility color or a rubber case with high visibility colors to snap this meter into. This unit blends in pretty good when you set it down so a high visibility color would help a person identify where it is. I could very easily see this meter get left under the hood of a vehicle.

I have been using a tiny craftsman multimeter for over 15yrs, still works but limited and can trust reading with these new electronics, so I decided to give this one a try. Bad experience as seen on photo, totally different item, and it was sealed with a PHOTO OF THE ITEM ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX, makes no sense. Asked for refund, DO NOT RECOMMEND. I don't usually write reviews, just had to warn other people.

Es un gran producto de la marca FNIRSI, con un diseño que se sale de lo tradicional y con algunas funciones que no encuentra uno en los instrumentos de medición de similar precio, su construcción y materiales se ven y sienten de calidad, quizás le faltarÃa un poco de peso para que se sintiera más sólido, pero esto no lo demerita en nada. su interfaz es sencilla, los números de la pantalla son grandes y claros, su velocidad de respuesta es buena, el juego de puntas que trae también es muy buena calidad y son de medida estándar por si deseas cambiarlas por algunas de otro tipo, en resumen, es un buen equipo para tener en tu arsenal de herramientas de medición si eres un entusiasta de la electrónica. Lo único que siento que le falta y que me gustarÃa que el equipo tuviera una funda protectora de silicona o material similar que además mejorarÃa el agarre del equipo.
