Easy to use and shrank a 12†memory foam mattress and 3†foam topper small enough that I was able to get it into my Hyundai Tucson. I had the mattress package for about a week before delivering it to my daughter, and when I opened it up, it took about five minutes for everything to regain its shape and size. Would definitely recommend and will likely purchase again in the future.

I don’t have a photo, but this took my queen sized Casper mattress from its usual size down to about 3†thick using a standard shop vac. Just be sure to allow your vacuum to cool down as it’ll generate a lot of heat. I had a friend add some weight on top of it (lay on it) to help get the last bit of air out of it.After rolling it up it fit well in the bed of my Tacoma for a cross country move. I used a few ratchet straps to help keep it secure, as the included straps seemed a little flimsy, but I was careful to throw some shop rags under the pinch points of the straps to ensure it wasn’t going to tear the bag. It held up through three days of moving without expanding or busting open.

UPDATE- 2nd purchase: The review below was the original for the first Vac Bag that we received. We needed to get rid of another mattress - this time a 10" high king (smaller than the first) - so reordered the same bag. This one looked different with a seam in the middle of nowhere - but maybe my memory is going?! Went through the process just like last time. It didn't seem to deflate as quickly as before. Got it deflated "enough" after 25 minutes - started to roll it up and I could hear hissing. The SEAM on the SIDE was leaking. Since we went nowhere near the sides and the mattress was smaller than the bag - it should have been fine. Needless to say it was close to a nightmare - not really - but a REALLY BAD DREAM. We finally duct taped everything we could and the mattress was still re-inflating all the way to the transfer station. Thank goodness it didn't let loose in the car!!! I was very happy that we KNEW that the first one worked so well that this would have been no problem. But it was big problem. First Bag purchased Review: We needed to discard our old 14" KING "mattress in a box" to make way for the new one. My fiance found this and suggested we get it to get the old mattress out (we found out the old mattress has fiberglass in it so cutting it up would have been very bad).I was absolutely convinced that it would not work. But - it was worth the 27 bucks to find out if it would at least help - any help is good when you are talking a 12 ton mattress!!Took the zippered cover off the mattress. Slipped on the big giant King sized bag around the mattress while it was standing up on end. Laid it back down on a soft surface. Secured the closing twice as directed. Stuck in the vacuum hose and turned it on. Figured I would sit there for an hour or more sucking the air out of this thing.15 minutes later it was down from 14" to about 4". Rolled it twice. Secured it with the straps (added some duct tape, too, "just in case". It is now loaded in the back of the car ready to go to the transfer station.I'm not gonna lie that I am so extremely surprised and so amazingly happy that it worked!!!Anyone who has ever had to dispose of the old mattress in a box - no matter the size - knows what a pain in the back it is. This didn't make it any lighter but it sure did make it easier!!!

I was somewhat skeptical but this actually worked. I needed to transport a full size memory foam mattress to my daughter across country and figured I’d try this because I needed room in my car for more furniture. Fit fine in the bag which is a good thickness although I was still careful not to do anything that might tear it. Sealed after a couple of swipes. My Dyson doesn’t work for vacuum sealing so got out the shop vac. Didn’t see any movement for about 5 minutes but then I could see it working! It took about 20 minutes to seal this thing AND it did require that my daughter walk along it to help the shrinking process along but we managed to get it flat, rolled up and strapped. Definitely doesn’t get as flat as illustrated but 2 of us were able to roll it. I would recommend that you add more “strapping†either with actual straps or tape because unless you’re going locally, it’s going to try to re-inflate. One thing which I found hilarious is that it puffed up in the sections where there was space around the mattress when I went through higher elevations!!! All in all, successful.

We have a queen size 12" inch foam mattress, and recently upgraded to a king, so we need to store the queen. After 2 attempts we ended up with a compressed and tied mattress. The product does an OK job but is not perfect. Bring your own ratchet straps and rope.Likes:- Queen mattress fits easily into bag and zips closed.- With a 5 gallon shop vac in 15 minutes we had reduced the mattress to just a few inches thick.Dislikes:- The plastic is very brittle and fragile (like other vacuum bags I've had in the past). We got a hole in ours which we were able to seal up with Gorilla tape. The bag does not elude confidence that it will stay compressed for more than a short term.- The included straps are useless - they didn't reach all the way around the bag - were about 5 inches too short to even fit into the buckle, plus another 12 inches to have some leverage to pull tight. We ended up using ratchet straps and then rope to hold it tight.Pro-tips- Vacuum the air out, use a ratchet strap to help roll the mattress up, then tie the mattress like a beef roast using rope! Lastly release the ratchet straps.- Wrap in additional layer of plastic / blankets to keep the brittle vacuum bag from breaking.- Seal holes with Gorilla tape.- When wrapping, position the vacuum port on the outside so it will be accessible later on in case you need to re-vacuum.

It works well. Just easy to damage. But if you need move your mattress buy it. 😉

Para mi gusto nada más sirve para proteger la bolsa porque no se comprime como dice y aparte te dice que viene con 3 correas lo cual no es cierto nada más vienen 2

Fits the mattress, compressed and rolled nicely. Was very happy with it. It has expanded though. Straps are still holding it together but it’s disappointing. I spent a lot of time making sure I closed the zipper properly. No clue if that’s where it’s leaking. I read some people put masking tape on it. Might try that if it becomes and issue. But for now it’s doing what it needs to do even with the leakage. Never could have fit my mattress on the top shelf of my closet otherwise!
