This Vertical Grip also can hold two LP-E17 Li-ion batteries - effectively doubling your shooting capacity. It works great sometimes canon doesn’t recognize the batteries but just hit no and you’re good.

I have been using this grip for almost a year. In terms of ergonomics, it fits my hands well and makes the R8 comfortable to hold. However, I have encountered a few issues. Occasionally, my camera does not recognize my Canon batteries as authentic when using the grip, requiring me to swap them around to establish recognition. This suggests that the grip may be causing communication errors. Additionally, I have noticed a significant decrease in battery life while using the grip. Upon removing the grip and using the batteries individually in the camera, the battery life returned to normal. Therefore, I can conclude that the issue lies with the grip, not the batteries or the camera.

8 hour photosesh, 2500 shots!!! Batteries didn't died but I have to take it of for video (if u guys produce quick release plates for DJI gimbals let me know) Idk charging level btw. camera doesn't shows it. from back side it look like cheap. from right side (grip what u cover you right hand) plastic color lil off. but who cares!!! for client it look like u hold in your hand massive $9k R1. ) hope your tallent, entrepreneurial spirit and this battery grip ll bring u lil more cash!

Por algun motivo al usar 2 baterias se descargan demasiado rapido.No se por que pasa esto. La estoy usando en una R8.La calidad del grip es buena y la textura de la goma o rubber es bueno. Es simplemente que la carga de las pilas no es el mismo :(Estoy triste por que de verdad me gustó mucho.
