The mat stays put in the tub when you shower and the surface is soft on your feet but definitely no slip. Dries easily by hanging on the side of the tub when done showering. If needed, it folds up very easily. Covers most of the tub so you can move around a lot in the shower and still be on the mat. Definitely improves your safety in the tub shower.

this mat is very heavy and is made for floors that aren't completely smooth, but I believe it would work equally well on those floors as well. The heavy weight holds it down so it doesn't slip in the skin creams I use and the top face is not slippery at all. and though it is heavy and heavy duty, it can fold up to a very small package. I was startled when I saw the tiny box on my porch. It solved a very, serious problem for me when I suddenly was required to use lotions for itchy skin.

Perfect size and color. Blends in with my black shower pan so it's virtually invisible. Creates excellent non-slip surface without feeling spongy. A real necessity with those slick, acrylic shower pans.

We purchased this mat to make our shower safer for visiting elderly relatives. The anti-slip properties are quite solid for no suction cups, and it looks sleek. However out shower features a center drain, and since the unit sits flush with the floor (excepting the tiny holes between squares) it doesn't allow the water to drain. I cut out one of the squares to facilitate drainage as a solution.

This mat works great when showering in a tub with a textured surface (I have not used it for a bath). The weight holds it in place, it is comfortable to stand on and it is easy to use, without having to press on suction cups when it is placed in the tub. I like that it came in a beige color to complement my decor. So far, I have been cleaning it by hand when I clean the tub instead of putting it in the machine, which is also easy to do given the absence of suction cups.. I do hang it on the side of the tub to dry after each use.

This bath tub mat is great! My husband had hip replacement & this mat is heavy duty and does not move, no matter what texture your tub has!!

Refinish tub so this was selected. I like it . However due to no suction it can slip a little still so becareful .
