I use this stool in my new closet to reach my shoes that now tower above me. It's study, and looks nice.

I ordered this step stool for my kids to use in the kitchen and am very pleased with it so far. It can fold fairly flat for storage, though we just leave it open and set up in front of the sink. The 2 step design makes it tall enough for my 4 and 7 yr olds to reach cups on the bottom shelf of the upper kitchen cabinets and get themselves drinks or wash hands in the sink.The stool is very sturdy and I have no worries about using this myself or for larger adults. I did notice that the little sort of tab that is circled in red in the instruction manual, feels quite flimsy and, when the stool is fully opened, that tab sort of sags downward so when you go to fold the stool up you need to specifically lift that or it will fold downward, which ours did and a little piece of it broke the first day. That said, that piece doesn't actually seem to affect the sturdiness or functionality of the stool and the piece of it that broke when it got folded the wrong direction didn't break the tab off or anything so I'm not really worried about it.Overall, this stool is working very well for our needs. Good height for kitchen use. Lightweight for easily moving around when needed. Sturdy and stable for use by all ages.

It’s a little bit confusing to open and close. I have yet to had it done Pat to get it. This is why I took off for a couple stars. It is slip resistant and sturdy if you can get it to open right

I am short, so I have many step stools stashed all over the house. However, they are all a single step and this two step is SO nice to have. You can use it as a single low or high step, or fold out both of the steps. It has pads on the bottom of it, so it does not slip around on the floor.Although I only weigh 110 lbs, it feels very sturdy. My husband, who is 180lb also tried the stool and thought that it felt sturdy.It is nice and light and folds down really flat so it is easy to store.Although I bought this for myself, it is great for my 5 year old as well - she can help me in the kitchen and the 2nd step is high enough so she can work at the kitchen counter with me.Great step stool - would highly recommend!

This is the best 2 step, step stool that I have come across. This is our second one like this. It folds out and collapses back easily. We have a 2 step plastic child step stool that our 2 y/o used, but she was still too short to reach the bathroom sink with it. However, with this particular step stool, she is able to reach the faucet and turn it on/off herself! Not only does she use it, but my entire family uses it as well. I'm now able to reach our very top cabinets without having to jump up and kneel on our counter. My husband has used it to change out light bulbs. We no longer have to lug out a ladder for it. This is the perfect height for it all!
