The folding photo box to me is small in size but that counts for more mobility. The lighting is limited but when the colored sheets, which are great choice of colors, are used the lighting works perfectly. The different colored sheets that comes with photo box will accentuate any item that you use to photograph. The size of the would be perfect for jewelry, make up, baby items like shoes or booties, small plants, and even food items, hand made soaps and candles. All in all I think the phot box would be a beginner just getting started for reselling.

I am giving a pretty high rating because this item was so inexpensive. If I had paid more for it I would be upset with how quickly it broke. Everything is great for the money. It is small, yes, it isn't perfect, but for less than $15, it's great. I really liked the little storage bag it came with. However, after a couple of months and only a few uses in that time, the piece where the cord connects to the lights snapped off. Knowing this, perhaps if one were to be very careful when plugging in the cable, this wouldn't be an issue. If I could do it again, I might put a piece of tape on it to give it a little more stability. Nonetheless, it is broken now and I will be trying again with a higher quality version.

Easy to put together and looked good in pictures. Limited shadows but there are better models with 2 LED strips or a circular LED strip in the top that further reduces shadows and give the items more detail. A lot of those other cheap boxes also have a top cover you can remove to get top down pictures. My copy of this lightbox also has a weak micro USB port. I have to have the cable at the right spot to not have flickering.To summarize, this was a 5 out of 5 star box 4 years ago when I bought it however there are bigger and nicer boxes for the same price, perhaps even lower. One star removed for that. Another for the electronics in my unit for being flakey with the USB connector. Today I'd call this acceptable as it works and it appears I was one of the few to get one with flakey lights while others had great copies of the same item. I got my worth out of it and I'll just replace it.

I'm not completely sure I could fit a full shoe in this set up but it is perfect for me as I take pictures of smaller objects like beads and jewelry for my business. The box is a little flimsy so don't expect to stack anything on it while you are working, but honestly for me the product is perfect. My work desk can get super cluttered and messy and while I have an established photo station in my basement, sometimes when I am working with particularly small objects I just want to have a small set up at my normal work station so that I can take pictures of items as I go. This set up folds up to the size of a cook book and comes with its own lights and power supply. It also comes with 4 different backdrops to hang inside and a carry bag to pack it all away. So the second I don't need the set up anymore, I can stock it away on a bookshelf in my office.

I do online clothing sales, and it is always hard for me to take pictures of small items like hats. I have looked around and decided to give this one a shot. I am surprised of how easy it is to assemble it, and the hats i sell fit perfectly inside the box. The LED light that is mounted on the top is really bright, and at first i thought one light strip won't be enough, but i am now convinced that it is enough by seeing how my pictures came out.They also include a pretty long micro usb cable with the box, easy to plug it in and use it instantly.I would recommend this for online sellers, great way to save by buying this and avoiding more expensive alternatives.

This product deserves the pro/con list, here goes...Cons: Too small for shoes unless they are for babies. Anything bigger than your hand is probably too big for this booth.Pros: Lighting is spot on perfect and the backdrops are easy peazy to use but not even needed unless you need a color contrast for your product.I used this product to snap pics of a seasoning jar and two coffee mugs. I need a bigger one for shoes and books.Recommended for: I strongly recommend this for beginners on a shoestring budget who are just starting out, I can't stress how important it is to have great photos. Mandatory for success.
