I Thrifted this mirror, but it was a middle toned brown, and I needed gold. This was the perfect paint to accomplish what I was looking for it took about four coats to do this mirror and what I did to paint it was just take paint swatches and tuck them in under the mirror edges to not get it on the reflective part. You have to have careful strokes or else it’ll streak, but overall good product. I barely used any to paint this mirror.

I love this paint! I've used it on canvas, wood, seashells, among other things and it goes on perfectly each time. I very rarely use a second coat since it's thick. Some metallic paints are super thin and more glitter than paint, but this is the perfect mix. It's sparkly and looks so natural. Great for small projects or seasoned artists.

I’m a long time fan of this pure gold metallic paint, the tone, application, glimmer and shine is unbeaten and the price always leaves me smiling. I renovate furniture, and the thickness and coverage of this paint works well, and dries quickly! It’s glowing! 2-4 coats and whatever I’m painting almost looks like real gold! Hands down my absolute favorite.

Very good acrylic paint. It’s from the brand Plaid, which makes great craft supplies. Shake the bottle well, and use a pallet or a tiny dish to apply just a dab of paint at a time. I used this paint and a wide brush made for acrylics, to paint a dry brush technique onto a plastic statue that I have. It came out beautifully. This paint covers well, and blends into itself just fine. It has a nice gloss to it. It covered over the brown plastic in the spots that I wanted it to just great! A good bottle of paint.

Perfect match to the ceiling lamp I put in painted the mounting block and a star stencil on the ceiling. Still a working project right now, but the metallic is beautiful in the sunlight makes the stars look shimmery! I have never gone wrong with folk art paint they are great consistency, coverage was really good on the wooden mount.

Needed a metallic gold acrylic paint for a project and was worried this might be too dull despite the rave reviews.When I got the paint, it felt like the color would be off a bit and I was worried while painting my project after an hour. I felt like it was too dull to what I was hoping for, BUT after leaving it overnight to cure...the PURE GOLD finally appeared.Definitely let it cure/dry to see its full potential on your project to then apply more coats as needed.I'm very happy with this product and I know any of you reading will this will be happy as well.

I bought this to pain my wooden picture frames. It takes three coats to have a nice gold colour. Dries fast, no odour, and easy to clean up afterwards. Happy with purchase.

I used this to paint two large wood lanterns. There was more then enough paint and the lanterns look amazing! The paint has a nice light sparkle to it too. Also, can’t beat the price!
