Both of these items work great. The socket really helps with getting the crank bolt out with an impact.

I have a pancake compressor and a harbor freight 1/2†impact. This socket with all of its mass did the trick. After about three seconds the crank pulley bolt came spinning off. The 50mm crank holding tool did a great job of holding while I torqued the bolt back down with another 19mm socket. There is no need to use the giant socket supplied through the center of the tool to torque the bolt back down. I also broke the bolt loose before I tore into everything so I wouldn’t have to worry about knocking timing out or anything else later.

Other reviews complain you can’t use both tools together but that’s not the way it’s meant to be used. You use one or the other. You’ll need two long breaker bars.

The crank holding tool is the only worthwhile part, but even then it leaves me wishing ai spent more money elsewhere. The weighted socket is not built to a good tolerance in my opinion, nor quality material. It fits very loose on my 1/2 impact, already show’s significant wear from just two uses. Spend more of your money on something better.

Used on an 02 Civic to remove balancer bolt that wouldn’t come loose, put socket on impact and spun bolt right off in seconds.

El dado fue la única herramienta que utilice para aflojar la turca de la polea del cigueñal en honda Civic HX 97, en realidad fue muy fácil aflojar la tuerca con una pistola neumática a 90 lbs de presión,no fue requerida la otra herramienta, recomendable el producto.

Pretty much need this to get the crank bolt off. High torque impact would not work but with this socket it came off right away

I bought a Princess Auto wrench that fit the bolt (search Acura) . They don't carry the bolt part though.
