I purchased this screen replacement approximately three weeks ago, hoping to restore functionality to my device. Initially, I noticed a slight delay in the response of the home button, but it still functioned, so I overlooked it. However, after just two weeks, the home button completely ceased to work.I am incredibly disappointed with the quality of this product. The delayed response of the home button was a red flag, indicating underlying issues with the replacement. Now, with the button not functioning at all, it has rendered my device practically unusable.I cannot recommend this screen replacement to anyone. The poor quality and lack of durability make it a waste of money. I urge potential buyers to seek out alternatives that offer better performance and reliability.

This was the 2nd one tried. First one had lesser quality tools and also the first one tired made you do an extra step to adhere the two digitizer connections to the screen itself. This is a step that needed to be done perfect. I was happy that this digitizer came with those already attached. I ended up re-using the home button from my iPad 7, it really wasn't hard.Hardest part of the whole thing by a long shot is getting the old screen off. I also got some extra adhesive strips 2mm/3mm to attached to the new screen. I think that was worth the extra $5.

Worked for me, first time ever replacing a digitizer on an iPad and first time I have opened any i* device (iPad, iPod, iPhone) since my. iPod 80GB classic which i upgraded to 320Gb back in the mid 2000s sometime :)

The adhesive barely sticks, the home button is pudgy and if you press it near the top, it actually pushes in as if the glue is separating.To top it off, 20% of the screen doesn’t work.Great!

Installed and worked perfectly! iPad is working as new; no dead spots and responsiveness is excellent. I’m glad it had adhesive already applied on the screen (sticky enough IMO); made installation so convenient, as I didn’t have to apply double sided tape. Very happy, will buy again if needed!!
