1) What can I do to retain the Touch ID of my phone?
1. Touch ID only works with the original home button assembly for user protection, you have to transfer it from your original iPhone 8 LCD screen and install it on our screen correctly.
2. If the touch id doesn’t work after using the original home button, please try to reset the Touch ID on your iPhone 8 setting.
2) There are black/white dots or lines on the screen, what should I do?
This may be caused during transportation, incorrect installation, or incorrect usage of the screen, please do not press too hard on the screen or drop it during installation or daily use.
3) Why does the touch function can't work properly after connecting all the cables?
The touch issue might be caused because the cables are not installed correctly. Please try to unplug all the connectors on the logic board. Then use dust wipes or cotton swabs to wipe all the sockets carefully and reinstall the screen. Make sure you connect all the connectors correctly with a "click" sound and make sure the metal plate over the connectors of the screen for iphone 8 are screwed down properly.

Simply the best iPhone screen replacement kit I have used seen/used to date. I was very surprised.Screen fit & finish - 10/10. The fit is perfect and finish is identical to original.Display quality - 9/10. The original screen is better only by a hair, the replacement is excellent.Touch response/accuracy - 10/10. Can't tell the difference between original and replacement.Durability - Too early to tell but thus far no scratches or cranks and it felt durable.Kit tools/components - 10/10. Everything you could possibly need is included, right down to the watertight edge seal.Kit quality - 10/10. Everything is well packaged and the components themselves are well made. I've done this before and in all previous cases some of the tools wore out before I could finish or I've had to supplement components. Not this time round, everything you need is included and of decent quality.Instructions - 10/10. The how-to video is clear and as good as you can get.Overall difficulty - Despite the excellent instruction video and being supplied with everything you need etc., this is not for the faint of heart. It's super fiddly, for example the iPhone 8's screws are the smallest I've ever seen which makes tricky to put back-in. From when I sat down to being able to test the finished phone, it took 1 1/4 hrs (longer than expected).Something to note - The instructional video had me remove the speaker/forward facing camera modules from the broken screen so as to transfer the latter to my new/replacement screen. The new/replacement screen came with the forward facing camera and speaker modules already in place, so I didn't have to transfer the latter, that was a nice surprise. The new speaker quality is better than the original and the new forward facing cam is as good as the original.If your Apple store is still closed or don't want to spend the money to have the screen replaced professionally the Mobkitfp kit is at the top of the field for DIY options.

When I bought this, I was a little bit wary because I had seen reviews of other replacement screens where they didn't work properly or were difficult to install. The screen takes time to install and need to be done carefully, but it was not very difficult. I was also impressed that the screen and the fingerprint id scanner both worked flawlessly after the installation was completed. Hopefully I will never need to buy another one, but if I do, I would definitely buy this one again. It's very reliable and sturdy!

This is a well put together kit. Easy work if you have any experience. Great price for the kit. I found two things to note. Number one: Somehow the top cable got torn which forced me to switch over my original camera and light sensors. The camera, sensor assembly is marked with Apple logo as if OEM but the Apple has been blacked out. It's probably a knock-off part. That is to be expected. I see a lot of replacement parts for iPhone that are stamped with Apple logo that has ben blacked out... mass produced fakes that have the logo blacked out if being shipped to the US so the don't get busted for counterfeit. The real problem is the earpiece screen is glued to the earpiece, not the front glass. If it actually is Gortex, being glued to the wrong side will prevent the phone from being watertight. Number two: This is the biggest problem. The screen is not great. Definitely not on par with the original. It is much dimmer. Not nearly as crisp. The color is not as rich. The backlighting is very blue. The "True Tone" feature on your phone will no longer be available. The display jumps while scrolling up and down. If you want to maintain display quality and features , you will not be happy with this screen.

Very disappointed with screen. The set itself is a nice idea. It comes with everything needed for a DYI replacement. The procedure is straightforward and took about 15-20 minutes. This was for an older iPhone 8 that I’ve successfully replaced the battery in twice and was hoping to keep alive after a screen incident. The replacement screen does not come with a new home button and must be swapped from the old display. Not really a problem, though it’s probably the most tedious part of the job. After finishing up, the screen powered on, and the camera and home button worked fine. The colors/hue/brightness are definitely different and I was never able to adjust the brightness to a comfortable level. The screen sensitivity is all over the place. Scrolling up often causes a right swipe and pinching/expanding is out of the question. There’s also a dead spot at the “U†on the keyboard. It appears that several functions are missing from this screen. It does not adjust to ambient light and it does not have a proximity sensor. So when on a call the screen does not turn off and my cheek is constantly pressing buttons. I did take it apart again to verify everything was connected and on further investigation noticed that it does not have the small lens above the speaker. I believe this is the location for the proximity and ambient light sensors. I put up with it for a week but ultimately decided to replace the phone.

It was easier to replace than I expected, and the phone works like a new one. My phone had been ran over and I had not backed up my pictures. I was able to retrieve them because of this product.The video code included did not work nor could I connect to the website listed but I was able to watch other youtube videos to get it replaced.

Pas de problème pour installer cet écran, il est bien adapté à un iPhone 8.Le tactile s’est avéré moins réactif dans les coins qu’avec l’écran d’origine.Par contre la calorimétrie est à revoir : il a fallu renforcer les bleus (filtre accessible via les paramètres) pour avoir un rendu acceptable.Comme spécifié avec presque tous les écrans de rechange, la fonction True Tone n’est plus accessible après changement d’écran.

Das Reparatur-Set wird mit den in der Beschreibung genannten Teilen und Werkzeugen komplett geliefert und ist ordentlich verpackt, so dass es beim Transport nicht beschädigt werden sollte.Die Kamera, Hörmuschel und Sensoren sind bereits vormontiert, was die Montage wesentlich erleichtert. Nach der Montage hatte die Hörmuschel erst keine Funktion, jedoch nach einem Neustart des Iphone hat es funktioniert. Der Fingerabdrucksensor vom alten Display ließ sich sehr einfach und passgenau montieren.Das Display hat eine gute Helligkeit und ich konnte keine Pixelfehler oder ähnliches feststellen.Die Qualität ist absolut in Ordnung. Sollten Fehler auftreten werde ich die Rezension aktualisieren.
