So tired of not being able to turn a jar lid. This works great. Easy to attach to the lid and then all that's needed is an easy turn. I've been able to open all sizes of lids with this. And the price is incredible. Others are double the money of this one. Great value for the money!

While the tool definitely helps to get stubborn jars open, it takes some getting used to when using to figure out how to keep the gripping part from also turning and getting enough of a bite to then easily twist the lid off. Trick is to let the jar sit on the counter and use one hand to grip and twist the handle while your second hand helps to tighten the gripping mechanism around the lid and once the torque gives it a good hold, move your hand around the actual jar and twisting the lid off. Definitely a useful tool when your significant other hands you a jar she couldn’t open and you aren’t willing to admit defeat….lol

Every month I make a fresh fruit bowl and usually add a jar of peaches ) just because I like peaches) even when I have fresh peaches in the bowl. And every month I (a senior citizen) struggle with getting the top off those 24-ounce jars of peaches. So when I saw the ads for this jar opener I was so happy that I no longer had to wait for my husband to be home to open those jars.What I learned through trial and error was that the teeth of this jar opener doesn’t grip the jar lid, nor does opener itself hold stationary as you try to turn it. The strength it takes to turn it is too much for my grip so I still have to wait for my husband to get home to open the jars or peaches. I was greatly disappointed.Unfortunately, by the time I actually got to use it my return window had closed. 😒 Sadly a waste of money (although a good idea).

This is so easy to use. Plastic handle is nice and large to grip comfortably. Turns seamlessly to open the stubbornness of lids. Giftable. Metal gears are strong. Speed of opening it amazing. Sturdy weight feels nice. Tucks away into drawers easily.

I just had hand surgery and can't use my right thumb. I was hoping this product would alleviate that problem in opening jars, but no such luck. You need full strength in both hands and all your fingers in order for this product to work.I'll still probably keep it for when I regain use of my thumb, but as for now, I can't use it.

I had a stroke which left me weak in my left hand and arm. Opening jars is a struggle sometimes if not outright impossible. T design of this makes opening jars and bottles much easier. Just be aware of a limit on lid size. The only lid, so far, I couldn't use this on was a giant jar of pickles.

Very hard to use. I think it might be broken. You have to hold it on and turn it at the same time. Does not work on water bottles.

This item is quick and easy to use. It grasps the lid and with an easy turn quickly opens your jar. Doesn't take too much strength to open. Works both right- and left-handed.

Wanted a simple but reliable means of opening jars eg beetroot, pickles. This does the trick without any great effort or exertion. Doesn’t take up much room when being stored between use.
