Installed on 03 TJ. Everything with install was a breeze. All holes aligned. Must use original hardware to mount to the vehicle. All other hardware included. I do recommend as others have to get some foam tape to provide a buffer between the mount and the paint for protection. It's a little heavier than the stock mount and does not have a third brake light mount but decided to eliminate the third brake light for a cleaner look so wasn't a problem for me.

Hauling a 35 inch nitro ridge grapplers on the back of my jeep jk and this carrier handles it great. anyone with a little hardware knowledge can install this themselves no problem. It’s pretty sturdy although when you close the tailgate it does rattle slightly or going off-roading but nothing to worry about. Looks very flush with the rest of the Jeep and makes it look more aggressive because of the customizable height of the tire. Definitely worth it especially considering the price as compared to other tire carriers but can’t give you a clear answer on how it might handle a tire above 35 inches.

It seems sturdy enough. Be sure to use the original OEM bolts if you can. I broke two that mounted on the mounting plate. Looks sturdy enough, but I will probably upgrade to a aftermarket bumper with a tire carrier or upgraded hinge assembly. This is a 35" tire and can easily hold a 37" maybe a 40". I only wish it had a place to mount the upper taillight that is on the original.

Easy install. I love that it’s adjustable because I put it on the lowest setting and now I can see more out my back window.

I installed this on a 2004 Wrangler TJ, you will need to use your existing screws, so be sure to keep them or you'll have to pay a visit to your local hardware store.It pushes the tire back by about 4" and up by about 4" as well, compared to the stock carrier. But you can adjust it, it has multiple screw slots to adjust it lower than 4"

Do not buy this. You could kill someone. I had this for less than 200 miles. Never went off road. Only a mild 35†tire. I heard rattling and pulled over and the whole assembly was about to drop the tire. It looks like they completely forgot to weld it. No way to contact seller. Amazon solid ban this seller.
