My wife and I both work in tech and we don't always treat ourselves to the latest/greatest, but we've tried all the smartwatches and always seem to have the best experience with Fossil. My Gen5 has been running strong for 2 years now and it's my everyday wear. The gen6 has been problem free since my wife got it before Christmas. Setup was easy and we got it mates up to her Android phone without issue. Battery life is great and it charges so quickly she can wear it all day and night and charge while she's in the shower.Definitely a solid choice with functionality, comfort, and style.

My mom has had a few fitness trackers but really didn't like them. We got her this for her birthday and she loves it. So much better than fitbit

the watch does not charge to 100% it reaches a certain number and then reduces. This is very annoying and it doesn't last all day

I've purchased two Fossil watches and both have failed just outside of warranty. They are beautiful watches, but it's becoming like a yearly subscription in terms of money. I'm going to a different brand.

Bought this watch about 10 months ago ago to replace my Gen 5, which I loved but was starting to get a little glitchy given how long I'd had it, and this watch has been a source of frustration for at least 8 of the months I've had it. If it dies, which it does often, it is a struggle to get it to power back on. If the screen is set to sleep, it's a struggle to get it to wake up. One of my primary uses is for sleep tracking, and it syncs about 1 night out of 5. When it's working, it's a beautiful watch with nice Android integrations, but that seems to be a smaller and smaller percentage of the time. For a watch I've had for less than a year, I am very disappointed. When the time comes to replace, I won't be buying from Fossil.

Since I've been wearing this watch consistently, I can say without hesitation, it is serving me well. It paired flawlessly with my Android phone and I found the setup was fairly simple. The touch screen is extremely responsive and the swipe feature is seamless. Of course, you'll need to download the fossil app where you'll be able to select from a decent selection of features you may want to add to this wearable device. In addition to this device's ability to monitor and track wellness such as heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, and the more common step tracker and workout gage, you can of course sync it up to your phone to alert you with your phone calls and messages. As far as appearance, you can choose among a good selection of watch faces and make custom changes as far as colors from the fossils app. Your favorite faces can also be changed from the watch itself.Right now I'm enjoying all the features and this device is freeing me up from having to have my phone always in hand. It's helping me focus on healthier habits and it's inspiring me to get moving and reminding me to keep hydrated as well.I also love having my calendar, alarm, and notifications at hand. Tiles are easily accessible and the watch can be customized to where you can choose to program the physical buttons on the watch as your favorite buttons. There's also a built-in tutorial on the watch itself that can be accessed anytime until you become familiar with all it has to offer. The watch itself has a great weight to it, ( I like feeling a watch on my wrist) and a strong silicone band that can be adjusted to fit your wrist comfortably.I'm beyond impressed with this wearable device and would recommend it to anyone who is an Android user such as myself.A magnetic charging cable is included. I found the battery charge sufficient to get me through the day and found it to charge rather rapidly.I've posted some photos to give you a closer look, and hope that they, along with my review, help you out a bit with your choice. Thank you!

I wasn't prepared to be that impressed by the upgrade to Wear OS 3, but holy cow, its slick. Fossil has made a huge leap as far as their smart watches go. This is the first time using a smartwatch that I felt like having an android phone wasn't holding me back. I installed the Fossil app on my phone, which is overall pretty decent for tying together the watches' Wellness functions to my phone. Its easy to look back on certain days' workouts and activities. Please forgive the random photo in the review, but I asked my husband to text me a photo for reference, and for some reason he chose that image. As you can see, the resolution was crystal clear. For reference I have a Samsung S22+.My only complaint, which I've seen similar posts on other platforms sharing the same opinion, is that the battery life is pretty short. You can mess with the settings, and the watch has the option to automatically enable battery saving features, but the battery life still seems pretty short lived. I've been able to wear it all day, charge when I get home, and put it back on before bed for sleep tracking without having to charge again in the morning. The battery is pretty low by the time I get home, and it seems like tracking outdoor workouts really has the biggest impact on battery life.Another minor complaint is that the Facer app for changing watch faces is kind of hit or miss. The faces will load, but changing the complications (which things show on the designated watch face, like step count or heart rate) don't always work. I have faith that Fossil will continue to work on these minor bugs, as their customer service outreach has been very responsive to direct communications as well as on forums like Reddit.Overall, its not *perfect* but holy cannoli its a major step up for Fossil to have upgraded to Wear OS 3. I can't wait to see where they will take it from here, and in the meantime I am super pleased with the Gen 6 Wellness edition watch!
