The adapter is well made and fits my lens and my camera nicely. No loose movement and no grinding from too tight a fit. It's great to be able to use my oid AIS lenses on my new Canon RP. You can set the eyepiece to show what the final image will look like so it's easy to set the exposure. And it's easy to manually focus with peak focusing. This adapter is a great deal for it's low price.

I'm using this to adapt a vintage Nikkor 85mm to a Canon R6ii and it works great. It fits snugly with no light leaks and feels very sturdy.

Honestly wasn’t expecting much, but it works flawlessly for me. Mounted it on an EOS R and some old school Nikkor lenses from the film days. Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the lens side is a bit tight, whereas the body side fits both smoothly and snugly. Will update if anything changes, but for now it’s met my expectations to the T.

This adapter fits my Canon camera to my Nikon AI manual focus lenses. Clicks in properly and doesn't make any grinding noises or damage the mount on the lens or body.Has no other functions and does NOT pass through any exif/lens data. It is just a spacer to mount your lenses at the correct distance to allow minimum and (most importantly) infinity focus.Perfect fit. No complaints. No need to spend more money unless you want a speed booster which will be about 5-10x the price.

This adapter only has full compatibility with pre-ai lenses, despite the fact that it claims compatibility with ai and ai-s lenses there is no lever to stop down the iris. So if you use anything but the absolute oldest of nikon lenses you are forced to shoot wide open.

TLDR: The item does what it's supposed to - it attaches Nikkor lenses to Canon (in my case Canon RP) body. It's super sturdy, and honestly I thought it wasn't going to click the lens in all the way because you have to apply some force to make that happen. Without the ability to open the aperture ring, you have to use it on the absolute smallest aperture (largest number, like f22) and a pretty slow shutter speed. You will also need to set the camera to "take pictures without a lens." This part was a given, but I had some other issues. For some reason, I couldn't focus the lens I wanted to use (Sigma 10-20mm). It has manual adjustment, and I tested with my Nikon. It's not broken.. But every picture I took on this Canon camera was blurry. Maybe it's the focal length + adapter that's screwing with things... Maybe it's because I had to basically max out my ISO with the tiny aperture, so it was destined to look bad. Either way, I'm going to try a different adapter that has an aperture ring built-in and see if that works better. As other people mentioned, the only lens that worked well was my oldest one, which came with a 90's film camera. My more modern ones didn't look great (even the ones without VR and whatever, just basic lenses).

Fantastic product for the price. I’ve shot Canon digital since switching from Nikon 15 years ago to use a Canon 1Ds. I am having such a great time finally being able to fully use my AIS Nikkors from my film days on the Canon R. Mirrorless full frame is a revelation for using with manual focus lenses. Easier to nail focus. This adapter is well built, easy to mount, seems to not introduce any internal reflections, and is priced right.
